Hello Monday {2.9.26}

 Happy Monday! I hope you all had a great weekend! I am linking up with Holly and Sarah today to share about my weekend. When your air is on full blast on the way home from work.... Omg I wanted to put on some sandals so bad hahaha! It felt SO good outside Friday afternoon. We have warm temps all week thank goodness! We had a very quiet Friday night at home! Saturday morning, we got up to head to Madison to see our families for the day. We went to Mexican with Caleb's family. Yay! I wish I had grabbed a pic of our main meal, but I guess I was too hungry lol....we have been getting the Alambre which is steak, chicken, onions, bacon, and cheese sauce. Put it on a tortilla with sour cream and tomatillo sauce. Ohhhh my goodness. It's amazing. On Sunday, I did lots of laundry and got the house cleaned up. Then, it was all about the Super Bowl Bad Bunny Concert....LOL. I loved all of the pregame performances, and I especially loved Charlie Puth singing the National Anthem. Our sprea...

Friday Favorites {2.6.26}

 It's finally Friday!! As always, I am linking up with Andrea and Erika for Friday Faves! First and foremost..... My degree came in the mail this week! Whoop whoop! It honestly feels surreal...this has been a long time coming, and I am so glad to have it done! Zaxby's for dinner on Monday- YUM. Always sooo good. Unpopular opinion...I like Zaxby's more than Cane's! Valentine's coffee mugs must be my favorite- I have more of them than any other holiday! I have loved using them this week! Hello Fresh! So far, so good! I am going to give a full review once we try all of our meals. So nice to have the fridge stocked, and neither one of us had to put much thought or effort into it! So far, we have had the chicken sausage spaghetti bolognese and the one pan shrimp fajitas. YUM. Loving my new Mother jeans! I had been wanting some green pants to wear to school, so when I found these on sale I basically had to get them! I always size up in Mother. We got a new shower head an...

Book Review: The Retirement Plan

 I am way overdue for a book review, so let's get into the last book I read! I started this book back in the summer I think but didn't finish it until we were on our Las Vegas trip. I promise I didn't get bored of it- I'm just a bad reader these days! I loved this book! It felt very Desperate Housewives to me, and if you know me, you know how much I love DH! Without giving away too much detail, The Retirement Plan by Sue Hincenbergs centers around three wives who plan to cash out their husbands' life insurance.....in quite a creative way. This book definitely kept me on the edge of my seat, and I wanted to keep reading after it was over! I was like wait....there's no sequel?? Hahaha Some of the characters work in a casino, so I thought it ended up being perfect that I was reading it in Vegas! It was filled with both humor and crime, so that's where it felt like Desperate Housewives to me! Friendship, marriage struggles, dark humor....it has all the goods! I ...
