Watched Lately: Christmas Edition

 Happy Wednesday!! I have been watching all the Christmas movies lately!! How about you?? Here's what I have watched lately...some new, some old, some favorites, some never before seen....all so good, so cute, so Christmas-y! I went to Netflix and just typed in Christmas, and this is what came up first. It was SO cute!! Christmas love stories are just the best, right? Plus, it has Pentatonix in it! I was soooo excited when Angela Kinsey announced that she would be in a Hallmark movie this year! Also loved seeing Kevin from The Office in a couple of scenes! I love the cheesy Hallmark movies where the girl falls in love with the guy from hometown- duh! But I also love when they branch out and do something different, and this was one of those movies! It was really cute! We watched Christmas with the Kranks the night we decorated the tree. Always a favorite! I finally watched the second Haul Out the Holly movie, and it was cute! I definitely liked the first one better, though. Another

DIY Ornament Wreath

 Happy Tuesday! I am getting very much into the Christmas spirit and decided to change my decor colors after I had already put out all of my stuff. Anyway, I decided to make a little DIY ornament wreath after I saw it last year on IG (@annesnowlifestyle is where I got the idea!).  This was my inspo.... this is the one Anne made. So dang cute! I found some wreaths like this online, because I wasn't sure if I wanted to actually make one....but after seeing some for almost $200, I decided making one would be fun 😂. So, here is everything I used.... I got the base and the big pack of ornaments from Michaels. The other ornaments were from Walmart (the red balls may be Amazon.) The ribbon is also Walmart. I hot glued the ornaments to the wreath base and some I just glued to other ornaments. I probably could have kept going, but I ran out of the smaller size ornaments.  And for my finished product.... I think it turned out really cute! I do like the way the one in the inspo pic is more f

Hello Monday {11.18.24}

 Happy Monday!! As always, I am linking up with Holly and Sarah today to share all about my weekend! My Friday morning...school work, sausage balls, and a second cup of coffee! I ran some errands.... Look what Aldi had! These are the BEST. And my Friday afternoon...waiting on Caleb to get home, so we could head out of town. And where was out first stop? Chili's. Our fave...with two of our faves! At one point, I had three Diet Cokes in front of me. Because that is just what I needed- ha! Saturday morning was a slow one...I didn't wake up until almost 9 😳. We grabbed an early lunch at Martin's with Caleb's parents. I did a little shopping at Hobby Lobby and Walmart, and then it was time to head to my mom's to get ready for Friendsgiving! I set up the wine glasses! The pink and purple in the back are Estelle, but the rest are from Amazon- aren't they cute?! The only other pic I got the whole night. We had a lot of fun! Sunday morning Starbucks thanks to Libbey and

Friday Favorites {11.15.24}

Happy Friday!! I am linking up with Erika and Andrea today to share some favorites from my week!  My breakfast has looked like this all week, and I am so happy about that! These are some of my favorite sausage balls! I grabbed this Christmas devotional from Amazon , and I thought I would share it here in case you are on the hunt for one! Here is what the inside looks like! Each day is set up like this. A fun nail polish fave! The color is Baroque But Still Shopping. I found these ornaments at our local home improvement store, and I am obsessed! I feel like they look more expensive than they were. I'm in the process of updating our Christmas decor, so I will share all of our decor once I get it all situated! Another fun Christmas fave.... I always change my phone wallpaper for the different seasons, and I just switched to this fun print! Have a great weekend!!

My New Skincare Routine

 I am always wanting to try new skincare brands, so when one of my favorite Tik Tokers shared this brand I decided to try it!  First of all, it is one of the least expensive brands I have ever used. So, I loved that! Second, all of their products are made in U.S., cruelty free, paraben free, vegan, gluten free, fragrance free, and dermatologist tested.  And best for last, all of the products I have been using make my skin feel so clean and smooth, and they have calmed a lot of redness I've been dealing with lately. Here's the routine I have been using..... I use this cleanser , morning and night. If I wear makeup, I use the cleansing balm first to remove the makeup and then go in with the cleanser.  My morning moisturizer (I have been using two pumps, but one pump works just as well) | Overnight sleeping cream for my nighttime moisturizer I use this acid emulsion 2-3 times a week, at night only. I have been using these products for about two weeks now, and I am really lovin

Lasagna Soup

 One of my very favorite things to make is lasagna soup! A sweet reader asked me to share the recipe, so if that was you- here ya go! I got this recipe from @maggieeatsss on Tik Tok- not sure where it is originally from though.  Soup Ingredients:  1 lb ground meat of your choice (I have used both ground beef and ground sausage- you can mix or use one or the other. Ground turkey would be a good option too!) 1 yellow onion Minced garlic (however much your heart desires!) Either 1/2 or whole box of lasagna sheets, broken into bite sized pieces 1 24 oz jar marinara sauce 1 cup heavy cream 2-4 cups beef broth (depending on how much lasagna you use!) Handful of fresh basil Ricotta Mixture:  15 oz ricotta cheese 1 cup shredded mozzarella 1 cup shredded parmesan  About 3/4 cup fresh parsley Directions:  1. Sauté onions and brown ground meat. Once meat is brown, add in garlic. 2. Once garlic is fragrant, add marinara sauce, beef broth, heavy cream, basil, and broken lasagna pieces. Let everythi
