Taylor Swift's Chai Sugar Cookies

 Need something yummy to make for the holidays?? These cookies are delicious and taste like FALL! Taylor shared these several years ago, and I finally got around to making them. Here is her recipe.... And this version includes the icing recipe.... I'm not sure if it's her icing recipe, or if someone else made it up. But it's delish! And for the final product! YUM. And baking in your pjs is the best! Happy Tuesday and happy baking!!

Hello Monday {11.4.24}

Happy Monday, friends! I had a super festive and fun weekend, and I am linking up with Holly and Sarah for Hello Monday to share all about it! Friday morning started with me taking down all the fall/Halloween decor to make way for Christmas!! I listened to my fave Christmas song to get in the spirit even more so than I already was! I made a ricotta mixture for our delicious dinner. I didn't take any pictures, but I met Caleb and his dad, brother, and grandfather for lunch at our favorite Starkville spot- The Grill. Lasagna soup for dinner! Definitely one of my very favorites!! Caleb indulged me in watching a Christmas movie while we ate and decorated. We watched Christmas with the Kranks! No matter how many times I watch it, it does not get old. I love it! Super festive Saturday morning coffee. YUM. My mom, step-dad, and Mimi got to our house around 1 am!  Our Saturday appetizer before we ordered Papa Johns. I am now adding basil and salt and vinegar chips to all of my cheese board

Friday Favorites {11.1.24}

 Well happy November! I'm linking up with Erika and Andrea today to share some favorite things from the week! My very favorite thing from the week (and probably the year!) was The Eras Tour! I have a post dedicated to the night that you can read here.  We had the BEST time!! Our post concert dinner was a fave... I love Cane's! I mean, we ate at 12:30am, but it was still delish! I guess everything today is going to be Eras related. I'm not sad about it! I got a tshirt and sweatshirt at the concert, and I really haven't worn anything else since 😂. Definite faves! A girl I watch on Tik Tok was eating these, so I grabbed them at the grocery store yesterday. They are SO good! They're the perfect mix of spicy and sweet. I ate them by themselves and on a cracker with cheese and pepper jelly. YUM. To pair with my mini charcuterie, I opened my favorite wine that I got when we went to Charleston a couple months ago! And my last fave for today....my Christmas decor is going u

Monthly Musings {October 2024}

 Happy Halloween!! Today I am linking up with Patty and Holly for their October edition of Monthly Musings! Let's get into all the Halloween fun! 1. The past two years, I have decorated for Christmas on Halloween. I have decided to wait until November 1 this year though. So, we don't have any plans for the night as of right now.  2. When I think of fall, I think of food. Ha! So, my favorite "traditions" are just cooking all of the yummy soups and baking all the things!  3. I really don't remember the last time I had either candy bar. I do love an Almond Joy, though! And Starbursts all the way! 4. If I could go trick or treating with my nieces and nephews, I definitely would! I don't know that I would want to host a party, but I would go to one! 5. I like handing out candy! 6. I think for the most part, everyone around here goes on the 31st, unless the weather is bad. 7. I don't go all out, but I do have pops of different Halloween decor mixed in with my fa

The Eras Tour 2024

 Welcome to The Eras Tour (recap!)!!! Sunday night, Libbey and I went to Taylor Swift's third show in New Orleans, and it was AMAZING! We had such a fun time, and we are both super sad that's it over....BUT we now have these memories to last us a lifetime! If you remember, I bought the tickets in October of 2023....377 days went by so fast and slow at the same time, and I can't believe it's over. The friendship bracelets on the Superdome were too cute! Our first look at the stage once we were inside! I was super impressed with how smoothly entering went. The gates opened at 4:30, and we walked up around 4:40/4:45 and walked right in. We were WAY at the top...this escalator was SO steep! The view from our seats! We were in the highest section, but our view was amazing! We could see everything...we got to see Taylor coming in in the cleaning cart, we could see her before she came up out of the stage and when she would go back under and run off, we also saw them taking awa
