Friday Favorites {1.17.25}

 It's my first Friday Favorites post of 2025!! I'm linking up with Erika and Andrea today to share some faves from my week! Before we get into my faves, if there's anything you want to see on my blog this year or you have any topic ideas, let me know in the comments! Thanks so much! Who doesn't love fresh flowers?? I grabbed a couple of flowers at Kroger the other day and made a couple of arrangements. I want to try to keep up with having fresh flowers in our house this year. They just make me happy! Ok, I will try basically anything once. I picked up these moisturizers at ALDI the other day. Yeah, Aldi. They were like $4 each, and so far I actually really like them. I love this view- definitely a favorite! Fresh flowers, hot coffee, and time with Jesus. My mom gave me this devotional recently, and I have really been enjoying it. I shared our new shades yesterday. They have been the biggest favorite of mine this week. We LOVE them!! Have a happy weekend!!

House to HOME {Part Four}

 Happy Thursday, friends! Ok, so I started this little series nearly TWO years ago. That is insane to me. Making our house a home is definitely a marathon, not a sprint! This is not our forever home, but I want it to be as beautiful and welcoming as possible while we do live here. If you want to check out my previous posts from this series, you can find those here: Part One | Part Two | Part Three Well, it finally happened. I would really love to know how many times I complained about those heinous curtains that hung in this room when Caleb lived here by himself and did not care that they were nowhere near touching the ground....ha! We ordered these shades from Amazon, and I am obsessed! We put in all of the measurements, mount type, lift mechanism, and liner. We ordered them on December 27, and they arrived at our house January 13. So far, we love them!! I shared these MK Decker hydrangea prints before , but they are just so pretty next to the shades! And for another MK Decker m...

Dallas Vacay!

 Happy Wednesday! A couple weeks ago, we traveled to Dallas with Caleb's family and today I'm sharing all about our trip! We headed out super early on a Friday morning- we were leaving early enough to make it in time for our tour at AT&T Stadium. I loved this wall when you first walk in. The view from the press box! To be honest....I was not too keen on the idea of a football focused weekend. It's just not something I care a lot about. But, it was pretty cool to see all of the behind the scenes type things. After the tour, we ate at Grease Monkey- it was right by the stadium. I had the chicken and strawberry salad- it was really good! After lunch, we got settled in our hotel before we decided what we would do next. Mall time!! My main focus was heading to Nordstrom, but I had to stop in Golden Goose on the way. I browsed each floor at Nordstrom for quite some time, but this was the only thing I walked out with. Do all Nordstroms have a spa?? I don't think I've e...

Life Lately.

 Happy Tuesday! Today I thought I would share all about what were up to over the holiday break. Christmas Eve Service is always my very favorite night of the year, and this year was no exception. This Christmas season I did something I have never ever done. Something I never ever thought I would do. But this was my kitchen table on December 27 at 7:45 p.m. I don't know what was up with me, but I was just ready to have all put away. The past few years I have always taken everything down after Epiphany. We had a sushi date and finally found a few rolls that we really like at our local place. Since Christmas was all put away, I pulled out the Valentine's decor! We took a long weekend trip to Dallas with Caleb's family. We went on a tour of AT&T Stadium which was really cool- except I just kept imagining what the place looked like during The Eras Tour 😉. I walked around Nordstrom for quite a while, but I really wanted to be in that spa- ha! I'll post a full trip recap ...
