Dip Nails....Part Three

 Let's do another dip nail update.... I got my nails "dipped" for the third time about two and a half weeks ago. In this post here, I talk about my first and second dip experiences! For this manicure, I went back to the salon where I tried dip for the first time. The only downside to this salon is that it's two hours away from where I live 😂. There is a salon here in town that I'd like to try sometime, so maybe I'll do that sometime and give one last dip update. Here's my latest dip manicure! I went with Cajun Shrimp, but one thing I dislike about dip is that often the colors are darker than what they look like in lacquer or gel form. While we're on the subject, the other thing I dislike about dip is that it makes my nails fan out a bit. I like the shape (the lady that did my nails actually asked me what I wanted unlike the first lady!), and I do really like the color even though it does not look like Cajun Shrimp to me.  Let's talk about my first dip nail powder experience! I've mentioned a few times that I recently got dip powder on my nails for the first time, so let's walk through what the whole process looked like for me. If you've been here a while, you may know that I'm allergic to gel nail polish. Long story short, I was doing my own gel nails at home and was probably not curing the polish long enough, which led to me developing an allergy. If I use gel polish on my finger nails (for some reason I don't have this issue on my toes???), my fingers swell, get super itchy, and then I get a contact dermatitis rash on my neck. So, gel is out of the question for me. I have even stopped using it on my toes just to be on the safe side. My sister has been getting dip on her nails for the last several years, and she finally convinced me to try it out.
