What's In My Purse

 Happy Halloween!! What are your plans for this evening? Trick-or-Treating, a costume party, or are you like me and moving on to the next season?? {🎄❤️🎅} It's all of a sudden FREEZING here in Starkville- yesterday when I went to Kroger, they had the heat on. I kind of made fun of them for it, but by the afternoon I had turned the heat in my house on too 😂!  With the changing weather and seasons, I like to switch up which purses I use. I typically carry a big tote bag on a daily basis and switch out to smaller handbags for grocery shopping, dinner, a trip, etc. I pretty much stick to lighter colored bags in the spring and summer and darker colored bags in the fall and winter, though I do have a few that I carry year round.  Right now, this is the bag I am carrying. I love, love, love my Barrington bags! I think they're so fun and cute. This is the Savannah zippered tote,  and it's my favorite out of the two totes of theirs I have. In my big, everyday purse I keep probabl

Weekend Recap

 Happy Monday!! How was your weekend? Here's a quick little recap of what we were up to... This just about sums up the weekend 🙂. I was 14 when 1989 first came out and now, all these years later, I love Taylor's Version just as much, if not even more!  Friday night Mexican, my favorite! We were home and in bed watching Grey's Anatomy by 7 p.m. I love my bed 😂. My Saturday morning drink line up. Water, coffee, and a spark.  I did my devotional while Caleb went and got... Chick-fil-a for breakfast!  I swapped out my Pura scents. Now they're ready to go for when the Christmas decor goes up TOMORROW! I painted my nails. This is one of my favorite fall colors- You Don't Know Jacques by OPI. I started a new book. The rest of the night was spent watching football and eating yummy appetizers.  Our Sunday lunch view.  When we got home, we got back in bed and watched Grey's Anatomy for the rest of the day. We are so much fun 😂.  I hope you all had a great weekend! Her

Friday Favorites {10.27.23}

  It's finally Friday!! I don't know about you, but I'm so happy to see the weekend! As always, I'm linking up with Erika and Andrea to share some favorites with you on this Friday!  It's out, y'all!! I may or may not have stayed up until 11pm last night to listen 🙂. You can find me blasting this album all. weekend. long.  Here are some Aldi faves from my week... I grabbed this pizza to have as an easy but filling lunch. YUM! I drizzled a little honey over it, sprinkled on crushed red pepper flakes and dipped it in buffalo ranch. If you've never tried honey on pizza, DO IT!  I love a dip. LOVE. I love them as a little appetizer, snack, or a "girl dinner". The packaging on this one could not be more correct..a delicious dip, indeed!  I've been loving Natural Bliss creamer, but I wanted to try something that was non-dairy. When I saw this at Aldi, I immediately picked it up. I really like it! If you can't have dairy, I recommend this one.

Mini Target Haul

 Happy Thursday, friends!! When I wrote my Christmas Finds post  earlier this week, I completely forgot to add my Target items!! Sometimes I think I'm on top of things, and then my brain goes and proves me wrong 😂. So, here ya go...... If you read Tuesday's post, then you know I cannot say no to a... .....cute Christmas coffee cup!  Perfect for a hot cup of coffee while admiring your Christmas tree early in the morning, or a steaming cup of tea while watching a Hallmark movie at night 🙂. I've already used mine for hot chocolate!  How cute is this little $10 candle??  The Forest Fir scent just spoke to my Christmas loving heart. I was super excited about the little twinkle lights, too! Very festive 😁. Unfortunately, mine won't turn on..bummer! It's still cute though! I love a table cloth!! I was worried it would be too big for my table, but I think it works perfectly.  I came sooo close to getting a few of these melamine dishes, but I ended up deciding not to si

Christmas Finds

 Happy Tuesday!! This past weekend I went to Marshalls and Homegoods and found a few Christmas items! One week from today, I'm ditching fall and moving on to all things Christmas!! (I'm a firm believer in that Thanksgiving is one day, and Christmas is a whooooole season 😉!)  My favorite candle brand in this very Christmas-y scent! I usually go for a fir/pine/woodsy scent, but I decided to branch out this year!  Cute Christmas coffee cup #1.... Cute Christmas coffee cup #2.... Aaaaand cute Christmas coffee cup #3. What can I say? I love a cute Christmas coffee cup 🙂.  A bonus find at Kroger yesterday! YUM! It will be perfect in those.....cute Christmas coffee cups 😉. Well, that was short and sweet. And very coffee themed. Have a fabulous Tuesday!

Weekend Recap

 Happy Monday, friends! I hope you all had a great weekend- here's a little peek at ours!  Saturday morning, Caleb went to play golf with a friend, so I watched a Hallmark movie and had a cup of hot chocolate...in a Christmas mug 🙂. I watched The Christmas Parade. It was cute, cheesy, and predictable!  Then. I made a Marshalls run just to see what they had. And then I ended up buying a few things. Oops. I found this wine and was super intrigued. It actually does taste like chocolate. It's interesting, but I liked it. I drank a glass while I ate dinner, and it was surprisingly good!  After dinner, Caleb turned on the Ole Miss game, and I pulled out my Kindle.  A little while later we got in bed. And I kept reading. I finally finished this book that I've been reading for quite a while. Hopefully I will have a book review up soon.  Sunday morning, we got ready and headed to Tupelo for a bridal shower!  When we got home, I for some reason got an itch to rearrange some things i
