Closet Chat: Wedding Guest Edition

Happy Thursday! I haven't done a Closet Chat in a while, so let's chat about wedding guest attire today! One thing about me, is that wedding guest attire stresses. me. out!! If a dress has the slightest bit of white on it, might look like a shade of white when photographed (like a pale pink or yellow), or is a super bright color, I cannot wear it. I should note that as a bride, I did not care one single bit what people were wearing 😂. So, here are a few safe options that I would wear to a wedding! I have this one and wore it to a January wedding, but I think it would be great all year. I sized up- my normal size was just a bit too tight for my liking. A few colors are on sale! I originally ordered "Sky" but when I needed to size up, it was unavailable. I ended up with the Peacock blue. Both colors are really pretty in person! I'm planning to wear this to a wedding in November!  I got a 6, and it fits like a glove! This is in my cart right now! I especially lov...

Closet Chat: Shoes Edition

Hey friends! It's time for a Closet Chat! On a previous edition of this little series, I asked what topics I should "chat" about next, and my mom suggested shoes! I'm such a shoe girl. I'm a shoe collector. I'm a firm believer in that shoes can make or break an outfit AND your attitude. I basically live by the saying "Life is short, buy the shoes." I never ever ever regret buying that pair of shoes I've been eyeing!!  I mean...I love a shoe. So, today I thought we'd take a trip down memory lane- in the form of shoes!  I'm just going to jump in here with the order in which I took the pictures of these shoes I'm sharing today. These are just a few pairs that hold some type of meaning for me. Let's get into it!  Who had these Ugg wedges?? Sheaffer Told Me To! Well, she told my mom to, but my mom ended up giving them to me! I still love these and wear them at least once a summer. I. Love. Wedges. I would say they're my favorite...

Closet Chat: Laundry Edition

Happy Tuesday! I'm here with another edition of CLOSET CHAT! Who loves laundry?? NOT me! But, I do love for my clothes to be clean and smell good!! For a while I was using Tyler detergent in the Diva scent, which I love, but the smell just wasn't lasting on our clothes. I have seen a few people talk about Laundry Sauce, so I decided to give it a go! I was a little apprehensive mainly because I didn't know if we'd like the scent or not, but I decided to just go all in with the Signature Package in the Egyptian Rose scent.   This package includes..... 69 detergent pods... 69 dryer sheets... An 11 oz bottle of in-wash scent booster, and a 19.5oz bottle of fabric softener.  And so far, SO good! We LOVE the scent so much, and we can actually still smell it on our clothes, sheets, towels, etc. out of the dryer! The whole house smells up when we wash a load, too! I'm so tempted to try other scents, but I just love the rose!  Plus, this packaging makes me feel so fancy! H...

Closet Chat: Gresham Edition

Good morning and happy Thursday! I'm here with another edition of my Closet Chat series!   If you ask anyone who knows me, they will tell you hands down these bracelets are my favorite accessory! These are the  Maui bracelets from Gresham Jewelry!  I have them in the freshwater pearls, gold Florence beads, as well as the La Tua Storia beads.  I put together a couple of stacks to show just how versatile and CUTE they are!  I got this initial stack to take with me on our honeymoon and wore them just about the whole time! You can "Swim, Sweat, Shower" in them! These are from the La Tua Storia collection. (Colors from left to right are: Tropical Pink, Pink, Bubblegum) I wear this every single day on my wrist with my watch. (Color is Off White) This and the cross are also from the La Tua Storia collection. Also included are other symbols and numbers! You can customize your stack however you please! (Color is Baby Pink) These are the Florence beads. I onl...

Closet Chat: Jewelry Storage Edition

Happy Tuesday! And happy LOVE day! Today I'm back with another Closet Chat! This time, it's all about how I store my jewelry.  I'm a huge jewelry lover, and when I started accumulating more and more, I knew I needed a better storage solution. I got this hanging jewelry organizer, and I have loved it for so many years!!  My exact one is sold out, but this one is the most similar.  I think mine was around $75 when I bought it- they've gone up in price a bit, but it's so worth it to me! It's something I use every single day. I have mine hanging over my closet door, but it comes with hardware to hang it on a wall. (That's what's in the bubble wrap hanging in the ring section😜).  I knew I wanted to display some of my jewelry on a shelf in my closet. I keep just a few things here, but it's mostly Gresham ! I reach for those pretty much everyday!  This dish stays beside my sink and it's where I put some of my jewelry at the end of the day.- mostly my...

Closet Chat: Barrington Edition

I'm starting a new series called Closet Chat! This is where I'll talk about all things fashion-clothes, shoes, accessories, and bags! I'll share all of my favorite finds and favorite places to shop!  Today I'm sharing my new favorite bags! For a couple of years I've been seeing these Barrington bags, and I thought they were so cute! Around this time last year, I decided I was going to get a bag for myself for my birthday. It's sooo hard to choose a pattern and color combination, because they have so many options!  This is the purse I bought for my birthday. This is the St. Anne Tote . All of my Barrington items are personalized with the printed monogram. I love this bag so much! It's got tons of space. I have since gotten a smaller one (that I'll show later on in this post), so I think this will become my travel bag. It will be perfect for a car or plane ride!  These pouches are perfect to hold all of your necessities, and they keep your purse super org...
