Eating Lately

 Happy Tuesday, friends!! Here's a little bit of what I've been eating lately. If you remember, I did FasterWay to Fat Loss at the beginning of the year. I did the program for a few months, but I ultimately decided it just wasn't for me. So now, I'm trying to focus on more whole foods and less processed foods (all in moderation!!). I'm also trying to drink less wine post vacay! I've been eating a ton of fruit lately! I usually don't ever buy pre-cut fruit, but this cantaloupe from Aldi is some of the best I've ever had! I also love strawberries, cherries, honeydew melon, peaches, mango, grapes.... This was my dinner Sunday night! I made a quick and easy pasta salad (banana peppers, salami, feta cheese, and Italian dressing). I also made a cucumber tomato salad with feta, olive oil, and balsamic vinegar. Fruit on the side! I'm usually not big on salad at home, but this kit sounded really good! I'll probably eat it with ranch instead of the Italian...

What I Eat in a Day (Regular Macro)

 Happy Thursday, friends! Today I'm sharing with you everything I eat in a regular macro day (HIGH carb, LOW fat). In case you missed it, I shared a "What I Eat in a Day" Low Carb edition on Tuesday, plus a little about FasterWay! Though I do love a low carb day, I am always so ready for CARBS come Wednesday Morning!! Now, everyday isn't always the same of course, but my breakfast is usually eggs, protein pancakes/oatmeal, or some kind of breakfast sandwich. I like to eat a pretty heavy breakfast.  I started out with coffee and a few tablespoons of vanilla nutpods. Once I broke my fast, I had a bowl of this protein oatmeal. It's not my favorite thing to eat, because it honestly doesn't have that much protein in my opinion, but I had one pack left and decided to eat it on this day.  Then I had grapes, which are my FAVORITE way to get in a bunch of good carbs!!  Cheese for fat and protein! What I Eat in a Day (Low Carb)

 Happy Tuesday, friends! I have mentioned a few times that I started the FasterWay to Fat Loss at the beginning of the year, and today I'm sharing what I eat in a day to hit my macro goals.   My personal macro goals were made specifically for me, my body weight, height, etc., so I won't share my specific goals. I have a coach through FasterWay that is AMAZING!! She answers any questions or concerns I may have, and she checked the goals the app gave me to make sure they were a good fit for me. Macro goals can vary based on lots of different things, especially between men and women, as well as with any special circumstances you may have.  The BEST tip my coach has taught me is to plan ahead!! I plug everything I'm going to eat into my FasterWay app every morning, and that helps SO MUCH! Plus, this keeps me from walking back and forth from the fridge to the pantry with no idea what to eat.
