  Happy Friday! And happy last day of March! This month truly FLEW by. As always, I'm linking up with Erika and Andrea and sharing some favorites from my week! First up, did you catch my MARCH BOOK REVIEW yesterday???  I loooooved Matthew Perry's memoir. I liked the drama of a book about brainwashed husbands. I read my first Colleen Hoover book and got super creeped out. ALLLLL the crazy details are  HERE! This was our Wednesday night.  In my pjs, wine in hand, dinner on the stove. All before 6:15pm. πŸ™‚ Last nights dinner looked a little different, buuuut... still fabulous! Pasta on my fine china and watching Modern Family. Yes, please! On Sunday afternoon.... We planted flowers and my heart has been so happy about it all week!  My sister gave me these super cute gift tags, and I finally got to use one for a birthday coming up! And for one more super random fave.... Aldi brand yogurt! I've also been loving the tropical blend Greek yogurt. So yummy and an easy grab and go sn

March 2023 Book Review

Another month down, another round up of GREAT (and not so greatπŸ‘Ž) books!  I read some fabulous books this month. Last month I said I had found my #1 book of the year already, but one of today's books really rivals it!  Friends, Lovers, and The Big Terrible Thing by Matthew Perry- Friends fans, read this! Those of you with loved ones struggling with addiction, read this! If YOU yourself might be struggling with addiction, read this! If you just love to read, read this!  I was so surprised by this book in so many ways. I absolutely loved it. I think it could fight Maame  for that #1 spot for the whole year. We'll see.  I laughed, I cried, I gained TONS of respect for Mr. Perry himself, as well as his friends that noticed he was not okay and got him the help he needed. I have a whole new perspective on my favorite show of all time. I've seen Friends upwards of like 25 times, and I never would have guessed the struggles Matthew Perry was facing in real life. But now knowing w

This tiny baby who wasn't quite a year old here will be FOUR in two weeks. Gah time moves too quickly. My #1πŸ’™πŸ’™πŸ’™ 3: WHAT I'M LOVING:  Warmer weather! House to HOME {Part One}

 I'm starting a new little series on this Tuesday morning! If you've read a couple of my previous posts, you know we are starting to really make this house our home! With new furniture, art work, gardening, etc. we are slowly but surely making this place OURS! Here's what we've done so far!  We got this rug from Rugs USA. They have TONS of beautiful rugs. I scrolled their site forever trying to decide what I wanted. I landed on this one. It's more plain than some of the others, but I can never say no to blue.  We planted a knock out rose bush in the backyard... and hydrangeas on the side of the house! I can't wait for those to get big and beautiful and produce gorgeous blooms!  We have a different couch and a new bed, we just have to find a time to pick them up! I think my next project is going to be framing wedding pictures for the hallway. Follow me on Instagram: @everydaymaddieblog Send me an email: everydaymaddie@gmail.com

 Happy Monday- one of my favorite days of the week! I tried really hard to get lots of pictures throughout our weekend! Here ya go! Saturday... My mornings always start with Bible and coffee! After my quiet time, I got ready for work.  Casual outfit for the weekend win! I wore my favorite bracelets.  And this is my favorite perfume! I read a little at work.  We had Mexican for dinner.  We got some plants at Lowe's.  We're watching all of The Hunger Games movies before they're taken off of Netflix later this week. Saturday night was Catching Fire.  Sunday morning quiet time.  Then I got ready for church.  Here's my full outfit. I love this dress! Super cute and inexpensive from Amazon. Church ready with my fave!  Waiting for the service to begin! After church we grabbed lunch (where I forgot to take a picture!).  And it was back to Lowe's we went for more plants. 😜 We ran into Marshall's. We were about out of towels for our guest bathroom, so I grabbed a couple
