What's Up Wednesday {October 2023}

Happy, happy Wednesday!! I can't believe we're already nearing the end of yet another month. This year has truly flown by! It's the last Wednesday of the month, so I'm linking up with Sheaffer and Shay to share what we've been up to lately!

1: WHAT WE'RE EATING THIS WEEK

Monday night we had breakfast for dinner.

Last night we had tuna melts on the panini press. If you don't have a panini press, GET ONE!! We LOVE ours!

Tonight we're having hamburgers.

No plans for Thursday night.

Friday night I'm making mushroom ravioli!

2: WHAT I'M REMINISCING ABOUT

I need another Disney trip soon.....

This was my very favorite Disney vacay so far!

3: WHAT I'M LOVING

I haven't cooked in quite a while, but I just got this cookbook in, so I'm planning all the meals!!

4: WHAT WE'VE BEEN UP TO

Caleb's brother gets married in just a few weeks, so we've been to wedding showers, dress and suit fittings, all the wedding things!!!

5: WHAT I'M DREADING

I feel like I say this each month, but I'm really not dreading anything currently. I guess that's a good thing!

6: WHAT I'M WORKING ON

Right now, I'm working on a big project for one of my classes!

7: WHAT I'M EXCITED ABOUT

Christmas. That's all 😂.

And tomorrow evening at 11pm (CT), I'll be listening to 1989 (Taylor's Version) while I should be sleeping 🙂.

8: WHAT I'M WATCHING/READING

Have y'all seen this??? It's CRAZY. But good! It's a little reminiscent of Stepford Wives. Plus Harry Styles is in it sooooooo.......😉 It's on Netflix!

Consider this my very informal BOOK REVIEW for the months of August, September, and October. Oops.

Y'all. I went from loving this book and putting it in my top 5 for the year, to absolutely hating it, and then back to loving it. It was a rollercoaster to say the least, and I was definitely on the edge of my seat. I thought I was going to tell y'all to avoid this one, but I absolutely recommend it!!

9: WHAT I'M LISTENING TO

As I'm putting the finishing touches on this post.....

You already know! This is one of my favorites from Midnights!

10: WHAT I'M WEARING

I've been trying to get "dressed" more often during the week instead of living in athleisure, but I'm still keeping it pretty casual. Mostly jeans and a cute top/tee.

11: WHAT I'M DOING THIS WEEKEND

Listening to 1989 TV and just hanging out with (some of) my people!

12: WHAT I'M LOOKING FORWARD TO NEXT MONTH

November means two things....my mom's birthday and Thanksgiving. This year, they're on the same day! She said all she wants is to watch the Macy's parade that morning, so I'm looking forward to that!! Plus, I'm excited to give her the gift I've had for her since the beginning of August 😂.

13: FAVORITE AMAZON PURCHASE THIS MONTH

I'm obsessed with my new top from Amazon!! I'm in a small.

Well, that's what we've been up to lately!! Thanks for stopping by! Have a GREAT Wednesday!

Friday Favorites {9.1.23}

  Happy Friday!! Happy SEPTEMBER!! And happy Labor Day weekend! Lots of HAPPY on this Friday morning!  As always, I'm linking up with Erika and Andrea to bring you some faves from the week!  Well, I couldn't hold out any longer... Yesterday I put out the fall decor! (I'll have a full fall "home tour" up soon!) Isn't this just so cozy?? It may be 90 degrees outside, but inside my home you'd never know!  All the PUMPKIN coffees.  My favorite Starbucks order is a Pumpkin Cream Cold Brew. Once it gets a lot cooler, I'll switch to a hot PSL.  My morning coffee though...  I added a little pumpkin spice to the top! This mug is just so happy! (I can't find my exact one, but it was $5 at Target! (This one is similar, and I might even like it a little better!) If you caught my What's Up Wednesday post earlier this week, then you probably know that this.... is my favorite night gown!! I've washed it several times, though I don't recommend putti

Friday Favorites {12.8.23}

  Happy Friday, friends!! Today I'm linking up with Erika and Andrea to bring you some favorites from my week!  If you missed yesterday's post, it was my ONE YEAR BLOGIVERSARY! One year ago, I set out to do something I've wanted to do for a very long time. I have loved this year of blogging! If you come here each week to read my blog, THANK YOU!! I appreciate your support more than you know!  I have loved the truffles from Aldi, so when I saw these chocolates I knew I had to try them. They are AMAZING. I've been eating a bit of some each night after dinner! If you see them, grab them!  I think I feel more like an adult when I have fresh flowers in the kitchen 😂. These red carnations are so cheerful!  A couple months ago, Caleb decided we needed an espresso machine...so on Black Friday he found one on a pretty good deal and went for it. We're considering it our Christmas to each other 😉. Friends, I mean it when I say if I never go back to Starbucks again, I would
