Christmas This or That

Christmas is almost here! I feel like the season has flown by. This is my absolute favorite time of the year. I was thinking about summer the other night and how much I am not looking forward to it.😂 I found this Christmas This or That on Pinterest. Here are my answers!

Real Tree or Artificial Tree: Artificial..Pre lit of course🙂

2. Colored Lights or White Lights: White Lights

3. Wrapped Gifts or Gift bags: Wrapped gifts for most, but I like a cute little gift bag for girlfriend gifts or smaller items.

4. Gift Cards or Gifts: Either...depends on who it is, I guess? I would be happy to receive either!

5. Christmas Eve or Christmas Day: Aww! I love our Christmas Eve church service, but I also love Christmas Day.

6. Christmas Music or Christmas Movies: Movies first, then music. I love it all!

7. Store Bought Treat or Homemade Treats: Homemade!

8. Play Games or Watch a Movie: Movie.

9. Love Actually or Christmas Vacation: Christmas Vacation! (Mostly because I've never really watched Love Actually- I have tried though! Just couldn't get into it.)

10. Grinch or Elf: Elf...Grinch creeps me out.😳

11. Dress Casual or Dress Up: Dress UP!

12. Tropical Christmas or White Christmas: Lots of snow is what I would hope for, but that's pretty hard to come by in MS.🙂

Let's Look: January 2026

Happy Wednesday!! Let's Look is one of my very favorite blog link ups and after not doing it last year, I am ready for it in 2026! I am linking up with Shay and Erika for this monthly series! Today, we are LOOKING at..... THINGS WE OUTSOURCE WITHOUT REGRET. Ok, there are so many things you can outsource that I just would rather do myself. I love to grocery shop. I think I would be weirded out by someone else doing my laundry. A house keeper is just not something we currently need or really want. BUT, there are occasions when outsourcing is just what needs to be done. Grocery Delivery/Pickup We don't do this often, but when we do it's pretty nice. That being said, I am usually ready to get back in the grocery store myself! Food Delivery This is another one we do not do often, but a Wednesday free delivery from Wingstop has sucked me in a few times 😂. And of course, pizza delivery is always nice! Friday Favorites {6.6.25}

Happy Friday, friends!! How was your week? One of my summer classes started this week, so I have been getting back into a bit of a routine which is nice! As always, I am linking up with Erika and Andrea to share some faves from the week. How cute is our new wreath sash?? My mom got it for us, and I am obsessed! Lots of food faves this week.... Another salsa I am now obsessed with! I found this at Aldi, and y'all it is SO good! I used it in a recipe, but I am definitely going to get another jar to eat for a snack or with lunch or dinner! Now for a Tik Tok "recipe". I used quotations, because it's really just a chop/open a can and throw together situation. Corn, black beans, pinto beans, onion, tomato, cilantro. I ate it with tortilla chips for lunch this week. It was so good! Next time, I would add more tomato and use less onion (maybe even no onion at all), and I should have chopped up the cilantro a little better! I also squeezed in some lime juice and added salt a...

Happy Friday, friends!! And Merry Christmas Eve Eve Eve Eve Eve- that's a thing, right??😂 I'm linking up with Erika and Andrea today to share some faves from the week, and then I will be off for the holidays! My plan is to see y'all back here on January 13! For some food faves.... I grabbed the raspberry kringle at Aldi the other day after seeing so many positive reviews on it. It is really good!! I had some with a cup of coffee a couple times this week! Last night, Caleb made lasagna soup- YUM. Definitely a favorite of mine lately! A great way to end the night.... Caleb made me a cosmopolitan the other night. Yum! I am really going to miss this sight.... This is my favorite time of year for sure! Twinkly lights and candle light = the BEST.
