Weekend Recap and Fun Nordstrom Finds

 Happy Monday, friends! I don't have too much of a weekend recap for ya since we're still sick.👎 We've been watching lots of Modern Family, Friends, and The Office. We're getting lots of rest and are feeling a lot better. Hopefully we'll be able to get back out into the world in a few days. 

This has been my view since Wednesday afternoon. 

And here's what I've been wearing. 

I've been trying to get somewhat dressed instead of staying in pjs all day. It makes me feel just a tiny bit better. 🙂

I've been super bored, and when I'm bored I like to "window shop" online. Here are some of the things I found on Nordstrom's website. 

Love this heart tee for Valentine's day. 

Or, if you're always cold like me, this sweatshirt is a great option too. 

I love a striped sweater. This one is similar to one I got from Target last year. 
I love the red, but it's cute in the other two colorways as well. 

I'm getting excited for summer! I love an espadrille wedge in the summer, and these are both super cute. 
These would be great for both spring and summer. The bow is so cute! 

Loooooove these! I love the pink, but there are several other colors that are perfect for a tropical vacation!

I actually think they'd be cute with this dress....
A tshirt dress is such an easy and cute outfit that can be dressed up with those cute wedges or dressed down with sneakers. 

These are my absolute favorite jeans. Ever. 
They are soooo comfortable. They do run big, so I size down one. They're also a great price, under $90!

On Saturday we wrapped up week 2 of The Bible Recap, and on Sunday we wrapped up the book of Job. I'm still loving working my way through the Bible this way. He is where the JOY is!😁

I think I would be weirded out by someone else doing my laundry. A house keeper is just not something we currently need or really want. BUT, there are occasions when outsourcing is just what needs to be done. Grocery Delivery/Pickup We don't do this often, but when we do it's pretty nice. Friday Favorites {6.6.25}

 Happy Friday, friends!! How was your week? One of my summer classes started this week, so I have been getting back into a bit of a routine which is nice! As always, I am linking up with Erika and Andrea to share some faves from the week.  How cute is our new wreath sash?? My mom got it for us, and I am obsessed! Lots of food faves this week.... Another salsa I am now obsessed with! I found this at Aldi, and y'all it is SO good! I used it in a recipe, but I am definitely going to get another jar to eat for a snack or with lunch or dinner! Now for a Tik Tok "recipe". I used quotations, because it's really just a chop/open a can and throw together situation. Corn, black beans, pinto beans, onion, tomato, cilantro. I ate it with tortilla chips for lunch this week. It was so good! Next time, I would add more tomato and use less onion (maybe even no onion at all), and I should have chopped up the cilantro a little better! I also squeezed in some lime juice and added salt a...

Friday Favorites {12.20.24}

 Happy Friday, friends!! And Merry Christmas Eve Eve Eve Eve Eve- that's a thing, right??😂 I'm linking up with Erika and Andrea today to share some faves from the week, and then I will be off for the holidays! My plan is to see y'all back here on January 13! For some food faves.... I grabbed the raspberry kringle at Aldi the other day after seeing so many positive reviews on it. It is really good!! I had some with a cup of coffee a couple times this week! Last night, Caleb made lasagna soup- YUM. Definitely a favorite of mine lately! A great way to end the night.... Caleb made me a cosmopolitan the other night. Yum! I am really going to miss this sight.... This is my favorite time of year for sure! Twinkly lights and candle light = the BEST.
