Weekend Recap

 Happy Monday! We took a quick trip back home this weekend and got in kind of late last night, so today’s post will be short and sweet. 

Saturday work OOTD! I loooove this cute sweater from Mimi Seabrook! 

After work we headed to Madison!

Sunday morning was church followed by our favorite Mexican restaurant lunch, of course! 

I looked down before church and saw I was missing a button. 😩

After lunch, I changed into warm, comfy clothes and we just chilled the rest of the day. 
We brought back this mirror that was in my bedroom at my mom's. I snapped this pic in the driveway before we loaded it in the truck...look at that sky!😍

Once we got back to Starkville, we unloaded and unpacked. Today I'll be doing a major house reset- washing clothes and some cleaning. I need to work on my closet, and I want to organize under the kitchen sink! So much fun. 😉

Friday Favorites {6.6.25}

 Happy Friday, friends!! How was your week? One of my summer classes started this week, so I have been getting back into a bit of a routine which is nice! As always, I am linking up with Erika and Andrea to share some faves from the week.  How cute is our new wreath sash?? My mom got it for us, and I am obsessed! Lots of food faves this week.... Another salsa I am now obsessed with! I found this at Aldi, and y'all it is SO good! I used it in a recipe, but I am definitely going to get another jar to eat for a snack or with lunch or dinner! Now for a Tik Tok "recipe". I used quotations, because it's really just a chop/open a can and throw together situation. Corn, black beans, pinto beans, onion, tomato, cilantro. I ate it with tortilla chips for lunch this week. It was so good! Next time, I would add more tomato and use less onion (maybe even no onion at all), and I should have chopped up the cilantro a little better! I also squeezed in some lime juice and added salt a...

Friday Favorites {12.20.24}

 Happy Friday, friends!! And Merry Christmas Eve Eve Eve Eve Eve- that's a thing, right??😂 I'm linking up with Erika and Andrea today to share some faves from the week, and then I will be off for the holidays! My plan is to see y'all back here on January 13! For some food faves.... I grabbed the raspberry kringle at Aldi the other day after seeing so many positive reviews on it. It is really good!! I had some with a cup of coffee a couple times this week! Last night, Caleb made lasagna soup- YUM. Definitely a favorite of mine lately! A great way to end the night.... Caleb made me a cosmopolitan the other night. Yum! I am really going to miss this sight.... This is my favorite time of year for sure! Twinkly lights and candle light = the BEST.
