Let's Look: February 2023

 

It's the February edition of Let's Look! I'm linking up with Shay and Erika today to take a peek at...WHAT'S IN OUR MEDICINE CABINET!

I recently went through and cleaned out our little drawer where we keep most of our medicine and things. I really just organized and got rid of things. 
Not super exciting at all. 😂 We keep it pretty simple. This is our medicine/junk drawer. We mostly have the standard Ibuprofen, bandaids, allergy meds, thermometer. We have a few prescription things that we keep on hand for emergencies. Caleb keeps his daily medicines under his sink, and I have a little travel container of ibuprofen that I keep in my purse. We keep hydrogen peroxide and rubbing alcohol in a bathroom cabinet. We aren't really vitamin people, so we don't have anything like that. 

Since we don't have a large, dedicated cabinet for this type of stuff, I keep Liquid IV in our pantry. I keep them where we can see them and easily reach for them. Those are good to have for days when extra hydration is needed, or when you're having trouble falling asleep. 

Ok! I think that's it as far as meds we keep in the house. What's in your medicine cabinet?!

 Happy Wednesday!! Let's Look is one of my very favorite blog link ups and after not doing it last year, I am ready for it in 2026! I am linking up with Shay and Erika for this monthly series! Today, we are LOOKING at..... THINGS WE OUTSOURCE WITHOUT REGRET. Ok, there are so many things you can outsource that I just would rather do myself. I love to grocery shop. I think I would be weirded out by someone else doing my laundry. A house keeper is just not something we currently need or really want. BUT, there are occasions when outsourcing is just what needs to be done. Grocery Delivery/Pickup We don't do this often, but when we do it's pretty nice. That being said, I am usually ready to get back in the grocery store myself! Friday Favorites {6.6.25}

 Happy Friday, friends!! How was your week? One of my summer classes started this week, so I have been getting back into a bit of a routine which is nice! As always, I am linking up with Erika and Andrea to share some faves from the week.  How cute is our new wreath sash?? My mom got it for us, and I am obsessed! Lots of food faves this week.... Another salsa I am now obsessed with! I found this at Aldi, and y'all it is SO good! I used it in a recipe, but I am definitely going to get another jar to eat for a snack or with lunch or dinner! Now for a Tik Tok "recipe". I used quotations, because it's really just a chop/open a can and throw together situation. Corn, black beans, pinto beans, onion, tomato, cilantro. I ate it with tortilla chips for lunch this week. It was so good! Next time, I would add more tomato and use less onion (maybe even no onion at all), and I should have chopped up the cilantro a little better! I also squeezed in some lime juice and added salt a...

Friday Favorites {12.20.24}

 Happy Friday, friends!! And Merry Christmas Eve Eve Eve Eve Eve- that's a thing, right??😂 I'm linking up with Erika and Andrea today to share some faves from the week, and then I will be off for the holidays! My plan is to see y'all back here on January 13! For some food faves.... I grabbed the raspberry kringle at Aldi the other day after seeing so many positive reviews on it. It is really good!! I had some with a cup of coffee a couple times this week! Last night, Caleb made lasagna soup- YUM. Definitely a favorite of mine lately! A great way to end the night.... Caleb made me a cosmopolitan the other night. Yum! I am really going to miss this sight.... This is my favorite time of year for sure! Twinkly lights and candle light = the BEST.
