HAIR!

 Today's post is all about HAIR! I'm sharing all my favorite tools and products that I use on a weekly, if not daily basis!

I typically wash my hair once or twice a week, using dry shampoo as needed.

I dry my hair with this T3 blow drier that I've had for a few years now. It's been the best hair dryer I've ever had!

I also use this hot brush from Monat. I like that it has two different attachments! I dry my hair most of the way with the T3 drier, and then dry the rest of the way with the brush.

I curl my hair probably two or three times a week.

I use this 1.25" curling iron, also by T3. I have really really loved it, but I think I either want to get a smaller barrel or switch back to a wand.

Now, let's get to products. I've been using Monat for almost one year, and it has helped my hair SO much. Before I started using it, I had tons of build up and constant oily roots. I'd wash my hair and immediately throw it up in a pony tail or bun, because I literally could not wear it down. Now, I can go three good days without even touching it with dry shampoo. Here's what I'm currently using:

I do a weekly oil treatment the night before I wash my hair. You wouldn't believe it, but this Rejuvenique oil prevents me from having oily roots. Sounds crazy, right? This stuff is so amazing, they infuse it into almost all of their products.

Post Covid, I had a ton of hair loss, so I've started to incorporate this system into my routine. I use it maybe every 2 washes.

These shampoos and conditioner live in my shower. The Renew shampoo and Intense Repair conditioner are what I use most every time I wash. The Black is what I use when I do a hair reset along with an ACV rinse- don't knock that until you try it! It's also what Caleb uses every time he washes his hair.

This scalp scrub is what dreams are made of. I'm obsessed with it. I use it probably 2-3 times a month, because it can dry out your scalp. It's amazing!

Say goodbye to split ends....this split end mender is AMAZING. It literally works on contact! It's so cool.

These three are some more of my absolute faves! The heat protectant is essential when using Monat, because it reveals your natural hair and heat can cause major damage. The dry shampoo...obviously we all love dry shampoo. It's a need not a want! It's the best I've ever used and doesn't muck up my scalp. I want to us the texturizing spray as perfume. It smells SO good! It also give so much volume and life to my hair when I curl it!

And last but not least...every southern girls holy grail. HAIRSPRAY! I've only used it a few times, but so far I love it!

OK, I think that wraps up HAIR! If you have any questions or are interested in Monat, send me an email or message me on Instagram! I hope you have a fabulous Thursday! One day closer to the weekend!!

Let's Look: January 2026

 Happy Wednesday!! Let's Look is one of my very favorite blog link ups and after not doing it last year, I am ready for it in 2026! I am linking up with Shay and Erika for this monthly series! Today, we are LOOKING at..... THINGS WE OUTSOURCE WITHOUT REGRET. Ok, there are so many things you can outsource that I just would rather do myself. I love to grocery shop. I think I would be weirded out by someone else doing my laundry. A house keeper is just not something we currently need or really want. BUT, there are occasions when outsourcing is just what needs to be done. Grocery Delivery/Pickup We don't do this often, but when we do it's pretty nice. That being said, I am usually ready to get back in the grocery store myself! Food Delivery This is another one we do not do often, but a Wednesday free delivery from Wingstop has sucked me in a few times πŸ˜‚. And of course, pizza delivery is always nice! Plus, we can get food delivered to the school I work out, so that's nice e...

Friday Favorites {4.2.26}

 Happy THURSDAY. My days are getting so mixed up with a Friday holiday haha! Posting Friday Faves a day early since tomorrow is Good Friday. Whoop whoop! We're getting a 7Brew!! I'm gonna let the new wear off before I go, but dang I am so excited for this! Have y'all tried it?? My sister gave me this MacKenzie Child's cookie jar for my bday and I love!! I made some white chocolate, peanut, and M&M clusters and they looked so cute in it! I will try just about anything once haha, but I finally jumped on the Tik Tok bandwagon and grabbed this facial brush for lymphatic drainage. My mind could very easily be playing tricks on me, but I'm gonna say I see a difference! Got mind from Amazon! And I cannot close out this post without mentioning Autism Awareness and Acceptance Month! Please, please, please educate yourself on what it means to have Autism, how to explain it to your children, how to advocate, how to include, how to help- all the things!! Please remember, if...
