3 Tips for a Cozy Home

Hey Wednesday! Today I'm sharing my 3 tips for making your home COZY! I'm all about coziness year round!

Here are my tips:

1. Lamps.

I looooove my little lamps around our main living areas.

This is what I see when I'm doing The Bible Recap. 🙂

And this is my view looking into the kitchen from the living room. It just looks so calm and peaceful!

2. Nice Scents.

I love having a candle burning. I think it's just so warm and inviting!

I love this one by Sand + Fog. The scent is Mediterranean.

If you don't like to burn candles, try a candle warmer!

I got this one from Walmart and really like it. I have accidentally left it on overnight a couple of times, an all is still well, so I'd say it's a safer option than burning wicks! Volcano by Capri Blue is always a favorite!

If you don't have a Pura yet, you should get one!

This is obviously the safest option if you have young kids, pets, or don't like wax candles! Some of my favorite scents are Volcano by Capri Blue, Blush Rose by Lafco, Cactus Flower by Paddywax, and Himalayan Salt & Rosewater by Nest.

I love the different scent options, the little light that it provides (you can choose any color!), but I also love that you can set a schedule for your device! You control it all from an app on your phone- from anywhere! So convenient and easy!

3. Throw Blankets and Pillows

I am always freezing cold, so I have blankets everywhere!

I have a Barefoot Dreams throw draped over my couch, which really ups the cozy factor! I also think pillows make the couch look more comfy and inviting!

Don't you want to just curl up with a blanket and a book now?! I sure do! Anymore tips for making things more cozy??

Have a happy Wednesday!

My plan is to see y'all back here on January 13! For some food faves.... I grabbed the raspberry kringle at Aldi the other day after seeing so many positive reviews on it. It is really good!! I had some with a cup of coffee a couple times this week! Last night, Caleb made lasagna soup- YUM. Definitely a favorite of mine lately! A great way to end the night.... Caleb made me a cosmopolitan the other night. Yum! I am really going to miss this sight.... This is my favorite time of year for sure! Twinkly lights and candle light = the BEST. On my drive home from work yesterday.... This was a fun little surprise. I don't remember this from last year! I hope you all have a great weekend and a very Merry Christmas and a Happy Holiday! However, whatever, whenever, whereve...

Happy Friday, friends!! How was your week? One of my summer classes started this week, so I have been getting back into a bit of a routine which is nice! As always, I am linking up with Erika and Andrea to share some faves from the week.  How cute is our new wreath sash?? My mom got it for us, and I am obsessed! Lots of food faves this week.... Another salsa I am now obsessed with! I found this at Aldi, and y'all it is SO good! I used it in a recipe, but I am definitely going to get another jar to eat for a snack or with lunch or dinner! Now for a Tik Tok "recipe". I used quotations, because it's really just a chop/open a can and throw together situation. Corn, black beans, pinto beans, onion, tomato, cilantro. I ate it with tortilla chips for lunch this week. It was so good! Next time, I would add more tomato and use less onion (maybe even no onion at all), and I should have chopped up the cilantro a little better! I also squeezed in some lime juice and added salt a...

Friday Favorites {8.29.25}

Happy last Friday of August! As always, I am here to link up with Erika and Andrea to share some faves from my week.  To be honest, it feels out of touch to make this post. After the devastating news of yet another school shooting, my heart is so heavy. Innocent lives taken and still no changes from people in power. I honestly do not know how anyone can see news like this and not be enraged and demanding for change. I do not get political on here, because that is not what I want for this space. However, I feel the need to share my thoughts about this. America needs gun control. ALL Americans need access to healthcare, especially when it comes to mental health. America needs change. Remember these things when you vote. Think about your babies, their friends, their teachers. Stay aware, stay educated. But also please make sure you spend time doing things that bring you joy (it's good for your mental health!). That is at least what I am going to do. With that being said, here ar...
