Weekend Recap

 Hello, Monday! I hope you all had a wonderful and blessed Easter Weekend! 

Today is also DAY 100 of The Bible Recap! If you've been following along we just started our TENTH book on Saturday. I have absolutely loved reading through parts of the Bible that I've never read before! 

We had such a fun, busy, and productive weekend! 

Every year on the day before Easter, my step-dad's parents host an Easter gathering/family reunion, so that's how we spent our Saturday! 

We had TONS of desserts, but these little cupcakes were the cutest! 

When we got back in to town, my sister insisted we go to Target, which I happily agreed to! 

I got this cute little PJ set for only $25! 

I did The Bible Recap that night instead of in the morning, which I don't love to do, but sometimes it just happens! I thrive on my routine, but I try to let things like that go when I'm not in my normal environment. 

Easter Sunday 2023! "He is not here; He has risen, just as he said." Matthew 28:6

We have been so blessed by this place over the last several years! 





After church, we had lunch with Caleb's family at our favorite Italian restaurant! 

We had lots of bread, good pasta, and yummy desserts! See that brownie??? Yummmmmm.

After we ate, we loaded up and headed back to Starkville! Now back to our routines, work, school, regular life......

I think I would be weirded out by someone else doing my laundry. A house keeper is just not something we currently need or really want. BUT, there are occasions when outsourcing is just what needs to be done. Grocery Delivery/Pickup We don't do this often, but when we do it's pretty nice. That being said, I am usually ready to get back in the grocery store myself! Friday Favorites {6.6.25}

 Happy Friday, friends!! How was your week? One of my summer classes started this week, so I have been getting back into a bit of a routine which is nice! As always, I am linking up with Erika and Andrea to share some faves from the week.  How cute is our new wreath sash?? My mom got it for us, and I am obsessed! Lots of food faves this week.... Another salsa I am now obsessed with! I found this at Aldi, and y'all it is SO good! I used it in a recipe, but I am definitely going to get another jar to eat for a snack or with lunch or dinner! Now for a Tik Tok "recipe". I used quotations, because it's really just a chop/open a can and throw together situation. Corn, black beans, pinto beans, onion, tomato, cilantro. I ate it with tortilla chips for lunch this week. It was so good! Next time, I would add more tomato and use less onion (maybe even no onion at all), and I should have chopped up the cilantro a little better! I also squeezed in some lime juice and added salt a...

Friday Favorites {12.20.24}

 Happy Friday, friends!! And Merry Christmas Eve Eve Eve Eve Eve- that's a thing, right??😂 I'm linking up with Erika and Andrea today to share some faves from the week, and then I will be off for the holidays! My plan is to see y'all back here on January 13! For some food faves.... I grabbed the raspberry kringle at Aldi the other day after seeing so many positive reviews on it. It is really good!! I had some with a cup of coffee a couple times this week! Last night, Caleb made lasagna soup- YUM. Definitely a favorite of mine lately! A great way to end the night.... Caleb made me a cosmopolitan the other night. Yum! I am really going to miss this sight.... This is my favorite time of year for sure! Twinkly lights and candle light = the BEST.
