Disney Recap PART TWO

Happy Thursday! I'm here today with PART TWO of our Disney trip!

Part Two will cover our Saturday at Animal Kingdom, Hollywood Studios, and EPCOT!

We started in Animal Kingdom and went straight to Dinosaur!

Reid has been so dang excited about riding it. He did get a little scared, but he still said it was good. 😂

He rode the Triceratops Spin probably ten times that day! He really loved it!

My mom, sister, and I rode Expedition Everest- which I'm starting to think might be my favorite!- while Mimi and Reid sat and waited on us. After that, Reid and Mimi went to the Safari, and the rest of us went to ride Flight of Passage. That's a fun one!

We grabbed lunch back in Dino Land before heading out to Hollywood Studios!

I LOVE Hollywood Studios. Rockin Rollercoaster has been my very favorite ride since I was tall enough to ride. But, BOO, it's closed right now. I think they're changing the theme???

Anyway, we had not ridden Mickey and Minnie's Runaway Railway yet, so we went there first. It was so cute and a lot of fun!

We had planned to ride Slinky Dog Dash, but we decided Reid was probably still too little for that- it looks pretty rough for kid ride!

My sister and I booked it over to Tower of Terror- a very close second favorite of mine! While we were in line, we were afraid they were going to close the ride because of lightning, but we made it!

I have ONE picture of our time at Hollywood Studios....

You're welcome.😂 We're in the bottom left corner. Holding hands. HA!

We met back up with Mimi, mom, and Reid at the front so we could head to EPCOT for dinner and a couple of rides before park closing. We love the restaurant in Mexico- go figure!😂

Mimi, Lib, and I rode Soarin' while mom and Reid rode a few smaller rides.

We just about closed the park down! Also, we caught fireworks from Magic Kingdom while we waited for our bus!

I'll post Part Three early next week! See you tomorrow for some FRIDAY FAVORITES!!!

And just because....today marks 11 months of me and Caleb being married. How crazy?! Time truly flies!

Comments

  1. We had to try 3 different times to ride Rock 'n' Roller coaster on our trip last August because it kept breaking down but I was pretty determined to get on the ride with my boys because it's one of my favorites too!

Happy Friday!! I hope you all had a great week! I'm linking up with Erika and Andrea today to share some faves from my week. Well guess what is back tonight?? NEW Hallmark Christmas movies!! It's always been my favorite soup from Chinese buffets. I didn't feel great and wanted a soup...luckily I had all the ingredients. I used this recipe here. The weather this week was absolute perfection.  I mean, it was really, really cool. And it was fabulous. So, that means.... I broke out a sweater and my Sorel booties that I love so much! I always forget how good the Bible app is. I opened it up...

Let's Look: September 2024

Hey, friends! I hope you are having a great week so far! Today is the September edition of Let's Look. But before I get into that, I want to talk a bit about today, September 11. Today is the 23rd anniversary of the attacks on 9/11. I was only one year old when this happened, so I obviously do not remember where I was or what I was doing or anything from this day. All I know is because of the people who continue to honor to victims and the heroes of this day. I have had the honor of visiting the memorial and museum in NYC twice now, and both times I have been were such an incredible experience. Visiting there is heavy. It is sad. It's informative. It's also beautiful to see how our country came together in such an awful time. I love this picture that I took on my last visit. The leaves in the picture are from a tree that survived everything from that day 23 years ago. It was transported to a greenhouse for a while, but it was eventually moved back, and I loved that I could...
