Friday Favorites {5.19.23}

Happy Friday!! It's that time again! Woohoo!! As always, I'm linking up with Andrea and Erika to share our favorites from the week!

Without a doubt, my number one favorite from the week that I just cannot get over...

When I went to Kroger on Monday, they had PEONIES!! My very favorite flower and what I had for my wedding bouquet! I couldn't decide on a color, so I got two. They also had a really pretty darker pink, but the light pink just spoke to me!

I really feel like I'm living in a Nancy Meyers movie.😍 I'm still just so excited that they had them.

Speaking of a Nancy Meyers movie...

I watched The Parent Trap last night while taking a bubble bath. Talk about a favorite!! Another movie I could watch over and over again!

My week was very "Coastal Grandmother," which I absolutely love!

I have now made it over to "Ina Garten Tik Tok." I used to LOVE watching Barefoot Contessa on the Food Network, so this is right up my alley!

I added these three cookbooks to my Amazon cart. I'm hoping this will make me really love cooking.😂 Right now, I love the idea of cooking but dang all that clean up afterwards!

I have been LOVING this Instagram account, @shoppedbyashley for a while now! She finds the absolute BEST things at Homegoods. I just love seeing all her finds, even if I don't buy anything!

And keeping with this week's trend, her finds are very "Coastal Grandmother!"🙂

Friday Favorites {12.20.24}

Happy Friday, friends!! And Merry Christmas Eve Eve Eve Eve Eve- that's a thing, right??😂 I'm linking up with Erika and Andrea today to share some faves from the week, and then I will be off for the holidays! My plan is to see y'all back here on January 13! For some food faves.... I grabbed the raspberry kringle at Aldi the other day after seeing so many positive reviews on it. It is really good!! I had some with a cup of coffee a couple times this week! Last night, Caleb made lasagna soup- YUM. Definitely a favorite of mine lately! A great way to end the night.... Caleb made me a cosmopolitan the other night. Yum! I am really going to miss this sight.... This is my favorite time of year for sure! Twinkly lights and candle light = the BEST. On my drive home from work yesterday.... This was a fun little surprise. I don't remember this from last year! I hope you all have a great weekend and a very Merry Christmas and a Happy Holiday! Friday Favorites {6.6.25}

Happy Friday, friends!! How was your week? One of my summer classes started this week, so I have been getting back into a bit of a routine which is nice! As always, I am linking up with Erika and Andrea to share some faves from the week. How cute is our new wreath sash?? My mom got it for us, and I am obsessed! Lots of food faves this week.... Another salsa I am now obsessed with! I found this at Aldi, and y'all it is SO good! I used it in a recipe, but I am definitely going to get another jar to eat for a snack or with lunch or dinner! Now for a Tik Tok "recipe". I used quotations, because it's really just a chop/open a can and throw together situation. Corn, black beans, pinto beans, onion, tomato, cilantro. I ate it with tortilla chips for lunch this week. It was so good! Next time, I would add more tomato and use less onion (maybe even no onion at all), and I should have chopped up the cilantro a little better! I also squeezed in some lime juice and added salt a...

Friday Favorites {8.29.25}

Happy last Friday of August! As always, I am here to link up with Erika and Andrea to share some faves from my week. To be honest, it feels out of touch to make this post. After the devastating news of yet another school shooting, my heart is so heavy. Innocent lives taken and still no changes from people in power. I honestly do not know how anyone can see news like this and not be enraged and demanding for change. I do not get political on here, because that is not what I want for this space. However, I feel the need to share my thoughts about this. America needs gun control. ALL Americans need access to healthcare, especially when it comes to mental health. America needs change. Remember these things when you vote. Think about your babies, their friends, their teachers. Stay aware, stay educated. But also please make sure you spend time doing things that bring you joy (it's good for your mental health!). That is at least what I am going to do. With that being said, here ar...
