Watched Lately

Happy Wednesday! It's been a minute since I've shared what I've Watched Lately, so here ya go!

Young Sheldon

Y'all. Watch this show!! It is sweet, cute, and HILARIOUS!! We are caught up to season 5, which is all that's on HBO for now. Season 6 just ended, so I'm hoping for it to come to HBO pretty soon!

And if you're watching Young Sheldon, you should go ahead and watch...

The Big Bang Theory. My grandfather got me hooked on this show years ago, and honestly I haven't really been able to watch it since he passed away, but once I started Young Sheldon, I got back into TBBT!

If there ever comes a day when I say I'm not interested in Desperate Housewives, you'll know something isn't right.😂

Y'all, I started watching this when I was in, like, the fourth grade. I watched it with my babysitter, I watched it at my house while my friend watched it at her house and we texted about the episode, I was devastated when it ended...I looooove this show. So much. Every now and then I rewatch it and love it just as much as the first time.

Tik Tok heavily influences what I watch these days, and several months ago it lead me to The Secret Life of the American Teenager.

I remember seeing the promos for this show (probably when I was watching Desperate Housewives😂) when I was younger, but I started watching it a few months ago. The acting is terrible and it's so goofy, but I cannot stop watching it. It's like a train wreck I can't take my eyes off of.

Rounding it out with another Tik Tok recommendation..

Love & Death. OMG. This show is CRAZY. It's based on a true story. Which is even crazier. Have any of you watched the version with Jessica Biel? I think it's called Candy. I may watch that one next.

What are you currently watching??

Have a happy Wednesday!

Happy Friday!! I hope you all had a great week! I'm linking up with Erika and Andrea today to share some faves from my week. Well guess what is back tonight?? NEW Hallmark Christmas movies!! Ummm YAY!! I'm most excited about Confessions of a Christmas Letter (Angela from The Office is starring in that one!) and Holiday Touchdown: A Chiefs Love Story! For some foodie faves... This right here. It made my week. I'm obsessed with the tuna from Beagle Bagel. It's amazing. I can never say it enough! I made egg drop soup for the lunch the other day, and it was really good! It's always been my favorite soup from Chinese buffets. I didn't feel great and wanted a soup...luckily I had all the ingredients. I used this recipe here. The weather this week was absolute perfection.  I mean, it was really, really cool. And it was fabulous. So, that means.... I broke out a sweater and my Sorel booties that I love so much! I always forget how good the Bible app is. I opened it up...

Let's Look: September 2024

Hey, friends! I hope you are having a great week so far! Today is the September edition of Let's Look. But before I get into that, I want to talk a bit about today, September 11. Today is the 23rd anniversary of the attacks on 9/11. I was only one year old when this happened, so I obviously do not remember where I was or what I was doing or anything from this day. All I know is because of the people who continue to honor to victims and the heroes of this day. I have had the honor of visiting the memorial and museum in NYC twice now, and both times I have been were such an incredible experience. Visiting there is heavy. It is sad. It's informative. It's also beautiful to see how our country came together in such an awful time. I love this picture that I took on my last visit. The leaves in the picture are from a tree that survived everything from that day 23 years ago. It was transported to a greenhouse for a while, but it was eventually moved back, and I loved that I could...
