Weekend Recap

 Happy Monday, friends! 

Like most weekends, we started off by having Mexican for dinner on Friday night! 

Spicy Margarita is my go to and Caleb gets a Long Island Iced Tea.

I went to work on Saturday only to realize about 5 minutes before we closed that I was scheduled to be off. Oh well😂.

I cleaned out my closet all weekend starting with clothes on Friday night, and shoes on Saturday. 

I got rid of four pairs of shoes, and I feel so accomplished😂. I'm such a shoe lover, so I hardly get rid of any unless they were a trend that I no longer need. 

Since we didn't have them during the week, I was planning to make Ina Garten's Croque Monsieurs for dinner on Saturday, but Caleb had some errands to run after work, so we just grabbed Wendy's while we were out. 

I made the sandwiches for lunch yesterday, and I thought they were pretty good for my first time making them. 

My mom and sister came yesterday evening- my sister has her college orientation today and tomorrow!

Today I'll be going to the grocery store and doing laundry! Have a great Monday!

Friday Favorites {6.6.25}

 Happy Friday, friends!! How was your week? One of my summer classes started this week, so I have been getting back into a bit of a routine which is nice! As always, I am linking up with Erika and Andrea to share some faves from the week.  How cute is our new wreath sash?? My mom got it for us, and I am obsessed! Lots of food faves this week.... Another salsa I am now obsessed with! I found this at Aldi, and y'all it is SO good! I used it in a recipe, but I am definitely going to get another jar to eat for a snack or with lunch or dinner! Now for a Tik Tok "recipe". I used quotations, because it's really just a chop/open a can and throw together situation. Corn, black beans, pinto beans, onion, tomato, cilantro. I ate it with tortilla chips for lunch this week. It was so good! Next time, I would add more tomato and use less onion (maybe even no onion at all), and I should have chopped up the cilantro a little better! I also squeezed in some lime juice and added salt a...

Friday Favorites {12.20.24}

 Happy Friday, friends!! And Merry Christmas Eve Eve Eve Eve Eve- that's a thing, right??😂 I'm linking up with Erika and Andrea today to share some faves from the week, and then I will be off for the holidays! My plan is to see y'all back here on January 13! For some food faves.... I grabbed the raspberry kringle at Aldi the other day after seeing so many positive reviews on it. It is really good!! I had some with a cup of coffee a couple times this week! Last night, Caleb made lasagna soup- YUM. Definitely a favorite of mine lately! A great way to end the night.... Caleb made me a cosmopolitan the other night. Yum! I am really going to miss this sight.... This is my favorite time of year for sure! Twinkly lights and candle light = the BEST.
