Purchased Lately.

Happy Tuesday! Here's a look at a few things I have purchased lately! A lot of things are just...things, but they all spark a little joy in my life!

This should technically be in a post in my "House to HOME" series, but I wanted to wait on that until we get our window treatment situation figured out. I think I've landed on roman shades, because the curtains behind the headboard really annoy me😂.

We got new sheets and a new quilt for our bed! Our previous comforter was just so difficult to wash and dry and with it being white that needed to be done often. It always overflowed the washing machine, so this will be much easier! Both the sheets and the quilt came from Marshalls. The hydrangeas are new, too! Those are MK Decker!

Reid is starting PreK in the fall, so I got him this cute water bottle! It's Hydrapeak, from Marshalls.

I love pens. Like LOVE. These are like a skinnier flair pen. I thought the colors were so pretty! I got them at Walmart.

If you saw my ALL TIME FAVORITE AMAZON FINDS, then you know how much I love this lip balm! It comes with six, but I have already put one in my nightstand drawer and one in my purse!

Big earrings are always a fave. These are so fun! Another Marshalls find!

Y'all know my love for Farm Rio is so strong, and this top is no exception!

Maybe it's a little too early for a sweater, but Mimi Seabrook was having a sale, and I couldn't say no to a $20 sweater! It's sold out now, but they always have tons of cute options!!

I am in such a fall mood, it's not even funny. These happy little jack-o-lanterns might be on display in my home in a couple of weeks.

Along with this candle. I mean, how cute!

A candle for now...this is my absolute favorite scent for summer.

Marshalls/Homegoods/TJ Maxx always hit it out of the park with gold and silver frames. I want to put a wedding picture in this one!

The one thing I got on Prime Day. This is Blake Lively's brand, and they're really good! For you LaCroix haters- these are sweet and flavorful😉. I've only tried them by themselves, but they're supposed to be good for making cocktails also!

Here is my attempt at a close up picture of my new phone case! I didn't know how I would like the squared off edges, but so far I don't mind it at all!

I did shop the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale last Friday, but I'll do a separate post for all of that once I get everything in! If you shopped the sale, what did you get?? Also, I'm headed to Nashville this weekend, so I'm excited to go to Nordstrom there and get to shop the sale in person for the first time ever!

Have a very happy Tuesday!

Happy Friday!! I hope you all had a great week! I'm linking up with Erika and Andrea today to share some faves from my week. Well guess what is back tonight?? NEW Hallmark Christmas movies!! Ummm YAY!! I'm most excited about Confessions of a Christmas Letter (Angela from The Office is starring in that one!) and Holiday Touchdown: A Chiefs Love Story! For some foodie faves... This right here. It made my week. I'm obsessed with the tuna from Beagle Bagel. It's amazing. I can never say it enough! I made egg drop soup for the lunch the other day, and it was really good! It's always been my favorite soup from Chinese buffets. I didn't feel great and wanted a soup...luckily I had all the ingredients. I used this recipe here. The weather this week was absolute perfection.  I mean, it was really, really cool. And it was fabulous. So, that means.... I broke out a sweater and my Sorel booties that I love so much! I always forget how good the Bible app is. I opened it up...

Let's Look: September 2024

Hey, friends! I hope you are having a great week so far! Today is the September edition of Let's Look. But before I get into that, I want to talk a bit about today, September 11. Today is the 23rd anniversary of the attacks on 9/11. I was only one year old when this happened, so I obviously do not remember where I was or what I was doing or anything from this day. All I know is because of the people who continue to honor to victims and the heroes of this day. I have had the honor of visiting the memorial and museum in NYC twice now, and both times I have been were such an incredible experience. Visiting there is heavy. It is sad. It's informative. It's also beautiful to see how our country came together in such an awful time. I love this picture that I took on my last visit. The leaves in the picture are from a tree that survived everything from that day 23 years ago. It was transported to a greenhouse for a while, but it was eventually moved back, and I loved that I could...
