My JOY List

 Happy Thursday! How's your week going? I think most everyone is back in school mode now and getting back into a routine! I started my online classes yesterday, and they went pretty well! One of my professors shared with us her "Joy List," and it really encouraged me to think about what's on mine!

1. My Family

My people bring me so much joy, and I'm so grateful for them! I don't know where we'd be without them and their constant love and support.

2. My Home

I love this home of ours that we are making our own. Y'all know how I love cozy, and lamps are the perfect way to add instant cozy to a room!

This is my view while writing this post. I just love it!

3. Pink

My favorite color has always been pink, but the Barbie movie has me liking pink somehow even more😂.

I just feel a little more happy and confident when I wear pink!

4. Candles

Again with the cozy....candles are just SO cozy! I have several all over the house, and I'm getting so excited for fall candles!

I've said it before, and I'll say it again...this is the BEST smelling candle EVER.

5. Flair Pens

I have loved flair pens since I was in high school! I love the way they write, the colors, everything! If you find yourself constantly needing a pen, get you some flair pens! I used to monogram them with my Cricut machine, but I haven't done that in a while. That made them even cuter!

I keep mine in this mint julep cup. I also have them in my purse, in my Bible bag, in our "junk" drawer.....basically everywhere😂.

6. Gresham Jewelry

If you have read this blog for any amount of time, you probably already know of my love for Gresham Jewelry. This is my most worn jewelry for sure. I love how easily it moves from day to night, and goes with athleisure or a nice outfit.

They bring a smile to my face when I wear them! And, yes, I could use some more😉. (These are the "Maui" bracelets, but I love all of her jewelry!)

I'm sure there are tons of other things I could add to this list, but these are the ones that instantly came to my mind. What's on your JOY list?? Have a JOYFUL Thursday!

Let's Look: January 2026

 Happy Wednesday!! Let's Look is one of my very favorite blog link ups and after not doing it last year, I am ready for it in 2026! I am linking up with Shay and Erika for this monthly series! Today, we are LOOKING at..... THINGS WE OUTSOURCE WITHOUT REGRET. Ok, there are so many things you can outsource that I just would rather do myself. I love to grocery shop. I think I would be weirded out by someone else doing my laundry. A house keeper is just not something we currently need or really want. BUT, there are occasions when outsourcing is just what needs to be done. Grocery Delivery/Pickup We don't do this often, but when we do it's pretty nice. That being said, I am usually ready to get back in the grocery store myself! Food Delivery This is another one we do not do often, but a Wednesday free delivery from Wingstop has sucked me in a few times 😂. And of course, pizza delivery is always nice! Plus, we can get food delivered to the school I work out, so that's nice e...

Friday Favorites {6.6.25}

 Happy Friday, friends!! How was your week? One of my summer classes started this week, so I have been getting back into a bit of a routine which is nice! As always, I am linking up with Erika and Andrea to share some faves from the week.  How cute is our new wreath sash?? My mom got it for us, and I am obsessed! Lots of food faves this week.... Another salsa I am now obsessed with! I found this at Aldi, and y'all it is SO good! I used it in a recipe, but I am definitely going to get another jar to eat for a snack or with lunch or dinner! Now for a Tik Tok "recipe". I used quotations, because it's really just a chop/open a can and throw together situation. Corn, black beans, pinto beans, onion, tomato, cilantro. I ate it with tortilla chips for lunch this week. It was so good! Next time, I would add more tomato and use less onion (maybe even no onion at all), and I should have chopped up the cilantro a little better! I also squeezed in some lime juice and added salt a...

Friday Favorites {12.20.24}

 Happy Friday, friends!! And Merry Christmas Eve Eve Eve Eve Eve- that's a thing, right??😂 I'm linking up with Erika and Andrea today to share some faves from the week, and then I will be off for the holidays! My plan is to see y'all back here on January 13! For some food faves.... I grabbed the raspberry kringle at Aldi the other day after seeing so many positive reviews on it. It is really good!! I had some with a cup of coffee a couple times this week! Last night, Caleb made lasagna soup- YUM. Definitely a favorite of mine lately! A great way to end the night.... Caleb made me a cosmopolitan the other night. Yum! I am really going to miss this sight.... This is my favorite time of year for sure! Twinkly lights and candle light = the BEST. On my drive home from work yesterday.... This was a fun little surprise. I don't remember this from last year! I hope you all have a great weekend and a very Merry Christmas and a Happy Holiday! However, whatever, whenever, whereve...
