Nashville PART THREE

 Hello Thursday! Here is PART THREE of our Nashville trip! You can find PARTS ONE and TWO here! 

On ur last full day in Nashville, we slept in and then had lunch at Hattie B's! 

I think I got "mild" tenders- they weren't too spicy!- with pimento mac and cheese and baked beans! SO good! 

And then it was time for some more shopping! At...

Nordstrom! After a little browsing, we decided to go to Vuori and come back to Nordstrom later. 


Then we went to the Belle Meade Mansion and Winery. 



It was gorgeous there and so neat! When you do the mansion tour, you get a complimentary wine tasting. We tasted some really great wines, and I even brought a bottle home with me! I had it in bubble wrap, wrapped in two bags, had a sweatshirt wrapped around it, and tightly secure in a packing cube- I wasn't taking any chances! Luckily, it survived the plane ride! 

Lib, Cayden, and I went back to Nordstrom after the winery. We had a great dinner at a Mexican restaurant near the mall and then ran in Trader Joe's. When we got back to the house, we packed up our stuff so we could head out the next morning.

We packed A TON into just a few days and had so much fun! We're already planning our next trip! Have a great THURSDAY!

 Happy Friday, friends!! Let's Look: September 2024

 Hey, friends! I hope you are having a great week so far! Today is the September edition of Let's Look. But before I get into that, I want to talk a bit about today, September 11. Today is the 23rd anniversary of the attacks on 9/11. I was only one year old when this happened, so I obviously do not remember where I was or what I was doing or anything from this day. All I know is because of the people who continue to honor to victims and the heroes of this day. I have had the honor of visiting the memorial and museum in NYC twice now, and both times I have been were such an incredible experience. Visiting there is heavy. It is sad. It's informative. It's also beautiful to see how our country came together in such an awful time. I love this picture that I took on my last visit. The leaves in the picture are from a tree that survived everything from that day 23 years ago. It was transported to a greenhouse for a while, but it was eventually moved back, and I loved that I could...

Friday Favorites {10.18.24}

 Happy Friday!! I hope you all had a great week! I'm linking up with Erika and Andrea today to share some faves from my week. Well guess what is back tonight?? NEW Hallmark Christmas movies!! Ummm YAY!! I'm most excited about Confessions of a Christmas Letter (Angela from The Office is starring in that one!) and Holiday Touchdown: A Chiefs Love Story! For some foodie faves... This right here. It made my week. I'm obsessed with the tuna from Beagle Bagel. It's amazing. I can never say it enough! I made egg drop soup for the lunch the other day, and it was really good! It's always been my favorite soup from Chinese buffets. I didn't feel great and wanted a soup...luckily I had all the ingredients. I used this recipe here. The weather this week was absolute perfection.  I mean, it was really, really cool. And it was fabulous. So, that means.... I broke out a sweater and my Sorel booties that I love so much!
