New Fall Decor (and a little Christmas!)

Who's ready for fall?? 🙋 I'm mostly ready for it stop being so. dang. HOT! Hopefully today's post brings you a little joy and a little hope that soon enough we'll be all cozy in our sweaters!

This past weekend, my mom and I ran in Hobby Lobby and HomeGoods. I got a little fall....AND a little Christmas! Hobby Lobby had Christmas decor 40% off, so I mean I had to, right??

How cute is this little pumpkin plate?? I'm thinking I'll put Halloween candy in it or maybe a few coffee K cups. This came from Hobby Lobby.

I love a themed spoon or stir for my little coffee area! I thought these were too cute! They also had some with leaves instead of pumpkins, but I loved the pumpkins the most! Also from Hobby Lobby.

I don't take my coffee to go very often, but when I do I don't like to put it in something like a Yeti. (Anyone else think it changes the taste😬??) I love getting these to go cups from HomeGoods! They had several different options for fall/Halloween.

I got this copper pumpkin a few weeks ago, and I think it might be my favorite fall piece that I have! How cuuuute?! They also had a silver version and three different sizes.

This isn't seasonal decor, but I've been wanting a bowl like this! HomeGoods usually has a pretty good selection of blue and white pieces!

Now for a little (early) Christmas! Hobby Lobby already has a ton of Christmas decor- plus it was all 40% off!

Last year I wanted a nutcracker but couldn't find one I loved. As soon as I saw this one, I knew I had to get it!

Our Christmas decor is all red/green/gold/navy. Soooo...I basically had to grab this ornament! I thought it was really pretty and looks like way more than $5!

When are you putting out your fall decor?? I'm so ready! Have a great day!

My plan is to see y'all back here on January 13! For some food faves.... I grabbed the raspberry kringle at Aldi the other day after seeing so many positive reviews on it. It is really good!! I had some with a cup of coffee a couple times this week! Last night, Caleb made lasagna soup- YUM. Definitely a favorite of mine lately! A great way to end the night.... Caleb made me a cosmopolitan the other night. Yum! I am really going to miss this sight.... This is my favorite time of year for sure! Twinkly lights and candle light = the BEST. On my drive home from work yesterday.... This was a fun little surprise. I don't remember this from last year! I hope you all have a great weekend and a very Merry Christmas and a Happy Holiday!  Happy Friday, friends!! How was your week? One of my summer classes started this week, so I have been getting back into a bit of a routine which is nice! As always, I am linking up with Erika and Andrea to share some faves from the week.  How cute is our new wreath sash?? My mom got it for us, and I am obsessed! Lots of food faves this week.... Another salsa I am now obsessed with! I found this at Aldi, and y'all it is SO good! I used it in a recipe, but I am definitely going to get another jar to eat for a snack or with lunch or dinner! Now for a Tik Tok "recipe". I used quotations, because it's really just a chop/open a can and throw together situation. Corn, black beans, pinto beans, onion, tomato, cilantro. I ate it with tortilla chips for lunch this week. It was so good! Next time, I would add more tomato and use less onion (maybe even no onion at all), and I should have chopped up the cilantro a little better! I also squeezed in some lime juice and added salt a...

Happy last Friday of August! As always, I am here to link up with Erika and Andrea to share some faves from my week.  To be honest, it feels out of touch to make this post. After the devastating news of yet another school shooting, my heart is so heavy. Innocent lives taken and still no changes from people in power. I honestly do not know how anyone can see news like this and not be enraged and demanding for change. I do not get political on here, because that is not what I want for this space. However, I feel the need to share my thoughts about this. America needs gun control. ALL Americans need access to healthcare, especially when it comes to mental health. America needs change. Remember these things when you vote. Think about your babies, their friends, their teachers. Stay aware, stay educated. But also please make sure you spend time doing things that bring you joy (it's good for your mental health!). That is at least what I am going to do. With that being said, here ar...
