Weekend Recap

 Happy Monday!! How was your weekend?? Good news- I actually took pictures throughout the weekend😂.

Friday morning began with The Bible Recap. 

I'm finally getting back into a routine that I love! Coffee and TBR is the best way to start my morning! 

My OOTD...tennis skirt and tank! I love these flip flops for when I'm going back and forth between inside and outside. 

I got in my car around 1:30pm, and it so kindly told me it was 104 degrees outside.......

My sister and I got these pullovers from Walmart- she got black, I got olive. I'm in a large for an oversized fit. When we got home, we had ice cream and watched Miss Americana on Netflix! And then Caleb and I folded that massive pile of laundry on the bed. 

Saturday morning TBR. We grabbed Chick-fil-a breakfast and then randomly decided to go to Birmingham for the day! It's only 2 hours from us, so it makes for a great day trip! 

We played Top Golf, shopped, and had dinner at P.F. Chang's. It was HOT but so fun! 

I didn't get any pics between Top Golf and dinner, but we went to Target, the PGA Tour Superstore, and Sephora! 

This is what we truly came for😂. If you've never had the "Great Wall of Chocolate," you're really missing out! 

After dinner, we popped in to Trader Joe's! Since I've recently become a TJ's connoisseur of sorts (ha!), I've determined that this location is not my favorite...since ya know I'm now an expert😂. But, I did get some goodies that I'll share sometime this week. 

Sunday morning coffee in a cute $5 Target mug. I think my fall decor can appropriately go up next week, right??

Mexican after church, because #duh. 

After lunch, I talked everybody into going to Kroger, so we could go ahead and knock out groceries for the week. And when your grocery store has Starbucks inside of it, you get a Pumpkin Cream Cold Brew to shop with!

 Happy Wednesday!! Let's Look is one of my very favorite blog link ups and after not doing it last year, I am ready for it in 2026! I am linking up with Shay and Erika for this monthly series! Today, we are LOOKING at..... THINGS WE OUTSOURCE WITHOUT REGRET. Ok, there are so many things you can outsource that I just would rather do myself. I love to grocery shop. I think I would be weirded out by someone else doing my laundry. A house keeper is just not something we currently need or really want. BUT, there are occasions when outsourcing is just what needs to be done. Grocery Delivery/Pickup We don't do this often, but when we do it's pretty nice. That being said, I am usually ready to get back in the grocery store myself! Food Delivery This is another one we do not do often, but a Wednesday free delivery from Wingstop has sucked me in a few times 😂. And of course, pizza delivery is always nice! Friday Favorites {6.6.25}

 Happy Friday, friends!! How was your week? One of my summer classes started this week, so I have been getting back into a bit of a routine which is nice! As always, I am linking up with Erika and Andrea to share some faves from the week.  How cute is our new wreath sash?? My mom got it for us, and I am obsessed! Lots of food faves this week.... Another salsa I am now obsessed with! I found this at Aldi, and y'all it is SO good! I used it in a recipe, but I am definitely going to get another jar to eat for a snack or with lunch or dinner! Now for a Tik Tok "recipe". I used quotations, because it's really just a chop/open a can and throw together situation. Corn, black beans, pinto beans, onion, tomato, cilantro. I ate it with tortilla chips for lunch this week. It was so good! Next time, I would add more tomato and use less onion (maybe even no onion at all), and I should have chopped up the cilantro a little better! I also squeezed in some lime juice and added salt a...

Friday Favorites {12.20.24}

 Happy Friday, friends!! And Merry Christmas Eve Eve Eve Eve Eve- that's a thing, right??😂 I'm linking up with Erika and Andrea today to share some faves from the week, and then I will be off for the holidays! My plan is to see y'all back here on January 13! For some food faves.... I grabbed the raspberry kringle at Aldi the other day after seeing so many positive reviews on it. It is really good!! I had some with a cup of coffee a couple times this week! Last night, Caleb made lasagna soup- YUM. Definitely a favorite of mine lately! A great way to end the night.... Caleb made me a cosmopolitan the other night. Yum! I am really going to miss this sight.... This is my favorite time of year for sure! Twinkly lights and candle light = the BEST.
