Christmas Home Tour 2023

It's the MOST wonderful time of the year!! Today I'm welcoming you in to my home to share my Christmas decor! Not much has changed from last year, but I've added a couple of things here and there and switched up a few things. A lot of my decor is from Homegoods or Marshalls, a few things are from Hobby Lobby, and some stuff has been passed down to me from family.

Grab a cup of coffee, tea, hot cocoa.....get cozy...turn on a Hallmark movie or Christmas music....maybe even light a fire.....

and come on in!

The main event!

This is the table the TV used to sit on, but we have a new piece for that on the way. So, you'll see this in other pictures still with the TV on it since I took pictures on different days...

I could not pass up these sweet reindeer when I saw them at Homegoods!

I got this when I was living in Oxford and needed a little Christmas cheer in my apartment. It's also a music box and plays "Oh Holy Night"- one of my favorite Christmas songs. May we all remember the reason for the season....

Let all the holiday baking begin with this view!

I love starting my mornings right here!

And ending the day here 🤣.

Our guest bathroom is extra Christmasy and cozy....isn't that all you want in a bathroom??

You can see things a little more clearly in this picture.

When I get in bed at night, I feel like I'm staying in one of those cute Christmas Inns that they visit in the Hallmark movies.

I felt like we needed a touch of Christmas in our bathroom.

I didn't do any decorating upstairs, but Caleb's mom gave me those cute hand towels, so I decided to put one up here!

Well, that wraps up my 2023 Christmas Home Tour! Have a wonderful and blessed Tuesday! I hope you have a very merry Christmas season!

Friday Favorites {10.18.24}

Happy Friday!! I hope you all had a great week! I'm linking up with Erika and Andrea today to share some faves from my week. Well guess what is back tonight?? NEW Hallmark Christmas movies!! Ummm YAY!! I'm most excited about Confessions of a Christmas Letter (Angela from The Office is starring in that one!) and Holiday Touchdown: A Chiefs Love Story! For some foodie faves... This right here. It made my week. I'm obsessed with the tuna from Beagle Bagel. It's amazing. I can never say it enough! I made egg drop soup for the lunch the other day, and it was really good! It's always been my favorite soup from Chinese buffets. I didn't feel great and wanted a soup...luckily I had all the ingredients. I used this recipe here. The weather this week was absolute perfection.  I mean, it was really, really cool. And it was fabulous. So, that means.... I broke out a sweater and my Sorel booties that I love so much! I always forget how good the Bible app is. I opened it up...

Let's Look: September 2024

Hey, friends! I hope you are having a great week so far! Today is the September edition of Let's Look. But before I get into that, I want to talk a bit about today, September 11. Today is the 23rd anniversary of the attacks on 9/11. I was only one year old when this happened, so I obviously do not remember where I was or what I was doing or anything from this day. All I know is because of the people who continue to honor to victims and the heroes of this day. I have had the honor of visiting the memorial and museum in NYC twice now, and both times I have been were such an incredible experience. Visiting there is heavy. It is sad. It's informative. It's also beautiful to see how our country came together in such an awful time. I love this picture that I took on my last visit. The leaves in the picture are from a tree that survived everything from that day 23 years ago. It was transported to a greenhouse for a while, but it was eventually moved back, and I loved that I could...
