My First Shein Haul!

I have been so anti-Shein for so many years, but I finally took the plunge a couple weeks ago and made a purchase. Are you a Shein shopper?? I got two sweaters, a pair of earrings, a dress, and a pair of shoes.

Bows are all the rage right now, so when I saw this sweater I immediately put it in my cart! It's pretty thin, but other than that I have no complaints.

This one really WOWED me!! It's actually pretty great quality, and so so cute! The sequins seem really well structured- I feel like they aren't going to fall off when I wash this sweater.

I grabbed these to ring in the new year, and since they were like $2, I'm not too worried about the fact that I will only wear them once!

I wanted to love this dress (and I really did!), but it was way too tight on the bottom half and big in the top half. I didn't really intend on wearing these shoes with it, but I kind of liked them together. Too bad the dress didn't work for me, but I gave it to Caleb's mom and it fit her better!

Here's a closer look at the shoes. These will be so cute in the summer!

So, all in all I am pretty pleased with my first Shein purchase! I did read this blog post before ordering, and it put most of my negative thoughts to rest and helped with sizing info. Have a happy Wednesday!

Happy Friday!! I hope you all had a great week! I'm linking up with Erika and Andrea today to share some faves from my week. Well guess what is back tonight?? NEW Hallmark Christmas movies!! It's always been my favorite soup from Chinese buffets. I didn't feel great and wanted a soup...luckily I had all the ingredients. I used this recipe here. The weather this week was absolute perfection.  I mean, it was really, really cool. And it was fabulous. So, that means.... I broke out a sweater and my Sorel booties that I love so much! I always forget how good the Bible app is. I opened it up...

Let's Look: September 2024

Hey, friends! I hope you are having a great week so far! Today is the September edition of Let's Look. But before I get into that, I want to talk a bit about today, September 11. Today is the 23rd anniversary of the attacks on 9/11. I was only one year old when this happened, so I obviously do not remember where I was or what I was doing or anything from this day. All I know is because of the people who continue to honor to victims and the heroes of this day. I have had the honor of visiting the memorial and museum in NYC twice now, and both times I have been were such an incredible experience. Visiting there is heavy. It is sad. It's informative. It's also beautiful to see how our country came together in such an awful time. I love this picture that I took on my last visit. The leaves in the picture are from a tree that survived everything from that day 23 years ago. It was transported to a greenhouse for a while, but it was eventually moved back, and I loved that I could...
