Water Goals

Happy Tuesday!! How is the start of your week going? I feel so productive after yesterday- I got everything done on my to do list! Yay!

Today I'm sharing with you how I easily get in my water for the day! It is so so so important to me to get in my water every. single. day!! Half your body weight in ounces, y'all!! I'll be a little vulnerable and tell y'all that my goal each day is 67.5 ounces, but I end up going over pretty much everyday.

So, here are some easy ways that I get in my water every day.

Fill up a Stanley. I fill either a 30 or 40 ounce every morning while my coffee is brewing. This way, I can go ahead and start drinking water as soon as I'm up for the day. Easy peasy. I drink three 30 ounce Stanleys or two 40 ounce. And I pretty much always fill another one at least half full to have on my nightstand before bed.

Workout. I mean, it's good for you anyway...But when I do a particularly intense workout, I drink a whole Stanley during it. Quick, easy, and effective!

Electrolytes. My favorite is Liquid IV. If I add this to water, I usually do like 15-25 ounces of water. It tastes good, so I drink faster. Plus, I'm getting other benefits as well.

Make a "debloat" water. I got this little recipe from my FasterWay coach, @annesnowlifestyle on IG. It's the juice of one lemon, the juice of one lime, 1-2 tablespoons of apple cider vinegar (with the mother), a pinch of himalayan pink salt, plus ice and water. What I love most is that this is fast friendly, but it also tastes good! You definitely have to get used to the ACV, but once I did I became addicted almost! It's hydrating and debloating!

Have whatever you are drinking close by you at all times. If I don't do this, I just don't get my water in as well as if I had my cup on my desk all day.

Thanks for reading!! Have a great Tuesday!

Let's Look: September 2024

Hey, friends! I hope you are having a great week so far! Today is the September edition of Let's Look. But before I get into that, I want to talk a bit about today, September 11. Today is the 23rd anniversary of the attacks on 9/11. I was only one year old when this happened, so I obviously do not remember where I was or what I was doing or anything from this day. All I know is because of the people who continue to honor to victims and the heroes of this day. I have had the honor of visiting the memorial and museum in NYC twice now, and both times I have been were such an incredible experience. Visiting there is heavy. It is sad. It's informative. It's also beautiful to see how our country came together in such an awful time. I love this picture that I took on my last visit. The leaves in the picture are from a tree that survived everything from that day 23 years ago. It was transported to a greenhouse for a while, but it was eventually moved back, and I loved that I could...
