A Day in the Life

 It's been a minute since I did a day in the life post, so let me take you through what a normal day is looking life for me lately. I documented my day last Wednesday. Here's what it looked like....

I started my day with coffee and Jesus. How cute is my mug? Daisy Duck is on the other side! Can you tell I'm really wishing for a Disney trip??

I played my dumb little game.

I watched the rain. We've had several rainy days lately, and I have been loving it! I just have to laugh at all the frat boys that live by us 😂. As I'm writing this post at about 3:45pm, they are playing corn hole in the street and drinking beer.......

I broke my fast around 10am with a bagel. YUM!

I did a little laundry. 

I washed and prepped the veggies for our dinner. 

I put out my spring decor! I'll make a separate post to show everything I put out. 

I listened to Taylor Swift while I did all of that.

I got ready to work out. I got this shirt for free from FasterWay for getting 150 stars in the app! 

Then, I did a little school work. 

When Caleb got home from work, he made dinner. It was SO good!

And before I knew it, it was bedtime! I read a little bit before I went to sleep.

Friday Favorites {6.6.25}

 Happy Friday, friends!! How was your week? One of my summer classes started this week, so I have been getting back into a bit of a routine which is nice! As always, I am linking up with Erika and Andrea to share some faves from the week.  How cute is our new wreath sash?? My mom got it for us, and I am obsessed! Lots of food faves this week.... Another salsa I am now obsessed with! I found this at Aldi, and y'all it is SO good! I used it in a recipe, but I am definitely going to get another jar to eat for a snack or with lunch or dinner! Now for a Tik Tok "recipe". I used quotations, because it's really just a chop/open a can and throw together situation. Corn, black beans, pinto beans, onion, tomato, cilantro. I ate it with tortilla chips for lunch this week. It was so good! Next time, I would add more tomato and use less onion (maybe even no onion at all), and I should have chopped up the cilantro a little better! I also squeezed in some lime juice and added salt a...

Friday Favorites {12.20.24}

 Happy Friday, friends!! And Merry Christmas Eve Eve Eve Eve Eve- that's a thing, right??😂 I'm linking up with Erika and Andrea today to share some faves from the week, and then I will be off for the holidays! My plan is to see y'all back here on January 13! For some food faves.... I grabbed the raspberry kringle at Aldi the other day after seeing so many positive reviews on it. It is really good!! I had some with a cup of coffee a couple times this week! Last night, Caleb made lasagna soup- YUM. Definitely a favorite of mine lately! A great way to end the night.... Caleb made me a cosmopolitan the other night. Yum! I am really going to miss this sight.... This is my favorite time of year for sure! Twinkly lights and candle light = the BEST.
