Weekend Recap

 Happy Tuesday, friends! I didn't blog yesterday, so today I'm sharing all about my birthday weekend! 

I started Friday morning with a cup of coffee, reading my bible, and watching/listening to the rain! The perfect morning, in my opinion! 

My sister and I went and got our nails done! I got dip for the second time, and I'm going to have a whole blog post about my experience soon. This color is Funny Bunny- my fave! 

My family came into town Friday evening, and we headed straight for the Mexican restaurant.

Ice cream afterwards- yum! I got blueberry cobble cold brew. Sounds like a weird combo, but it's actually so so good!

We had lunch at The Grill- one of our favorite places in Starkville.

I read in bed for a little bit that night!

Sunday/birthday lunch after church at another one of our Starkville faves!

After my family went home, I knew I didn't want to just sit around all day. So, we headed to the golf course! Caleb played golf, and I read! 

And since it was my bday, I got away with Mexican twice in one weekend! Marg for me....

Churros for all!! 

It was a great birthday weekend! Have a great Tuesday!

Friday Favorites {4.2.26}

 Happy THURSDAY. My days are getting so mixed up with a Friday holiday haha! Posting Friday Faves a day early since tomorrow is Good Friday. Whoop whoop! We're getting a 7Brew!! I'm gonna let the new wear off before I go, but dang I am so excited for this! Have y'all tried it?? My sister gave me this MacKenzie Child's cookie jar for my bday and I love!! I made some white chocolate, peanut, and M&M clusters and they looked so cute in it! I will try just about anything once haha, but I finally jumped on the Tik Tok bandwagon and grabbed this facial brush for lymphatic drainage. My mind could very easily be playing tricks on me, but I'm gonna say I see a difference! Got mind from Amazon! And I cannot close out this post without mentioning Autism Awareness and Acceptance Month! Friday Favorites {12.19.25}

 And just like that.....it's CHRISTMAS BREAK! And my last post of 2025! But before all of that, let's get into some faves from my week! Linking up with Erika and Andrea. Some Christmas funnies for ya.... 😂😂😂 "Underground Spirit Week" We dress up or do something silly and the students have no idea, so it's constant confusion and laughter! So fun! Monday- PJ day. Tuesday-  Anything but a bag. Wednesday- Favorite Christmas song or movie character. Oh Christmas Tree, Rocking Around the Christmas Tree, or as one student said...the Rockefeller Christmas Tree! Thursday- Christmas tree topper meets hat. This one did not last long in my hair...hahahah! Today is another PJ day for "Kinderland"! My name is Maddie, and I am obsessed with good smelling laundry.... These both smell AMAZING. The Wicked one smells exactly like the perfume I have been wearing- Jo Malone English Pear and Sweet Pea. Makes me sad that it's limited edition... I was looking for some go...
