What's Up Wednesday {March 2024}

Happy Wednesday! The last Wednesday of March!! How in the world?? This month flew by, just like February. I'm thinking this year will be over before we know it!

I'm linking up with Sheaffer and Shay to share all about our March!

1: WHAT WE'RE EATING THIS WEEK

Ummmm major pantry/fridge/freezer clean out over here. Basically whatever we can find........

2: WHAT I'M REMINISCING ABOUT

....Oxford! I haven't been since I packed up my apartment back in 2021, and I am missing it!

3: WHAT I'M LOVING

I am looooovvviiiiinnnngggg the little bit of warmer weather we've had here and there lately!! I've been wearing all the short sleeve tops and dresses, and it's making me so excited for summer!

4: WHAT WE'VE BEEN UP TO

I am starting to see the end to this semester!! And Caleb is starting to see the end to at least of the projects he's been working on over the last few months!

5: WHAT I'M DREADING

I have two speeches coming up for my communications class, and I am definitely dreading those!!

6: WHAT I'M WORKING ON

Schoolwork. All the schoolwork.

7: WHAT I'M EXCITED ABOUT

Easter! It's my favorite holiday, and I can't wait! I am eternally grateful for and blessed by The Cross.

8: WHAT I'M WATCHING/READING

We are still watching Desperate Housewives each night and loving it! I've seen it several time, but this is Caleb's first time and it's so funny to see his reactions to some of the crazy things that happen!

9: WHAT I'M LISTENING TO

At this point....if you know you know. I've been listening to a lot of Midnights this week!

10: WHAT I'M WEARING

Dresses! Sadly, I've gotten no pics of the ones I've worn. I'll try to get some mirror pics this week!

11: WHAT I'M DOING THIS WEEKEND

Friday is Caleb's brother's bday, so we'll be headed out to eat somewhere that night. Saturday is my step-dad's family's big Easter gathering/family reunion. And then Easter service on Sunday morning!

12: WHAT I'M LOOKING FORWARD TO NEXT MONTH

Reid will be turning FIVE next month! Crazy!! I remember the day I found out he was coming, and I never ever could have imagined how much he would change our lives.

13: FAVORITE AMAZON PURCHASE THIS MONTH

I actually ordered this as I was typing this post! I just started on The New Testament with The Bible Recap, but once I finish that I'm going to start on this!

Have a happy Wednesday!!

Let's Look: September 2024

 Hey, friends! I hope you are having a great week so far! Today is the September edition of Let's Look. But before I get into that, I want to talk a bit about today, September 11. Today is the 23rd anniversary of the attacks on 9/11. I was only one year old when this happened, so I obviously do not remember where I was or what I was doing or anything from this day. All I know is because of the people who continue to honor to victims and the heroes of this day. I have had the honor of visiting the memorial and museum in NYC twice now, and both times I have been were such an incredible experience. Visiting there is heavy. It is sad. It's informative. It's also beautiful to see how our country came together in such an awful time. I love this picture that I took on my last visit. The leaves in the picture are from a tree that survived everything from that day 23 years ago. It was transported to a greenhouse for a while, but it was eventually moved back, and I loved that I could...

Friday Favorites {10.18.24}

 Happy Friday!! I hope you all had a great week! I'm linking up with Erika and Andrea today to share some faves from my week. Well guess what is back tonight?? NEW Hallmark Christmas movies!! Ummm YAY!! I'm most excited about Confessions of a Christmas Letter (Angela from The Office is starring in that one!) and Holiday Touchdown: A Chiefs Love Story! For some foodie faves... This right here. It made my week. I'm obsessed with the tuna from Beagle Bagel. It's amazing. I can never say it enough! I made egg drop soup for the lunch the other day, and it was really good! It's always been my favorite soup from Chinese buffets. I didn't feel great and wanted a soup...luckily I had all the ingredients. I used this recipe here. The weather this week was absolute perfection.  I mean, it was really, really cool. And it was fabulous. So, that means.... I broke out a sweater and my Sorel booties that I love so much! I always forget how good the Bible app is. I opened it up...
