Friday Favorites {5.31.24}

 Well happy last day of May! How did this month fly by so quickly?? I'm linking up with Erika and Andrea today to share some faves from the week!

These two necklaces are my absolute fave of the week! I shared these in my What's Up Wednesday post earlier this week. I've worn them every day no matter what I've worn. Both are from Amazon! Beaded necklace | Shell necklace

On Wednesdays we wear PINK! And I was quite pinked out on this past Wednesday! My pink tennis dress is from Target! I would suggest sizing up one.

My lunches have looked like this lately! Yum! Egg salad, pimento cheese (I made the Master's recipe!) and pasta salad!

And this has been either my snack or breakfast! I really need to buy fresh fruit more often!!

Now for a little review of my $2.99 Pinot Noir from Winn Dixie. Obviously, it was not going to be the best PN ever, but for three dollars it was actually pretty good! The brand is SunBay Cellars. If you're looking for a good one, my favorite brands for a Pinot Noir are Hahn, Bread and Butter, J. Lohr, and Poppy.

Ok, I think that wraps up my week! Have a great weekend!

 Happy Friday!! I hope you all had a great week! I'm linking up with Erika and Andrea today to share some faves from my week. Well guess what is back tonight?? NEW Hallmark Christmas movies!! Ummm YAY!! I'm most excited about Confessions of a Christmas Letter (Angela from The Office is starring in that one!) and Holiday Touchdown: A Chiefs Love Story! For some foodie faves... This right here. It made my week. I'm obsessed with the tuna from Beagle Bagel. It's amazing. I can never say it enough! I made egg drop soup for the lunch the other day, and it was really good! It's always been my favorite soup from Chinese buffets. I didn't feel great and wanted a soup...luckily I had all the ingredients. I used this recipe here. The weather this week was absolute perfection.  I mean, it was really, really cool. And it was fabulous. So, that means.... I broke out a sweater and my Sorel booties that I love so much! I always forget how good the Bible app is. I opened it up...

Let's Look: September 2024

 Hey, friends! I hope you are having a great week so far! Today is the September edition of Let's Look. But before I get into that, I want to talk a bit about today, September 11. Today is the 23rd anniversary of the attacks on 9/11. I was only one year old when this happened, so I obviously do not remember where I was or what I was doing or anything from this day. All I know is because of the people who continue to honor to victims and the heroes of this day. I have had the honor of visiting the memorial and museum in NYC twice now, and both times I have been were such an incredible experience. Visiting there is heavy. It is sad. It's informative. It's also beautiful to see how our country came together in such an awful time. I love this picture that I took on my last visit. The leaves in the picture are from a tree that survived everything from that day 23 years ago. It was transported to a greenhouse for a while, but it was eventually moved back, and I loved that I could...
