My "Low Maintenance" Manicure

Happy Thursday!! How's your week going? I'm getting ready for a weekend trip to Florida, and I wanted to share one thing I'm doing to prepare!

I didn't want to go get a manicure at the nail salon, but I don't want to have to worry about my nails all weekend either. So, here's what I'm calling my "low maintenance" at home manicure.

When my nails are long, I feel like they chip easier. So, I cute them down pretty short. I did two coats of OPI Nail Envy as a base coat. Then, I did three coats of Essie Ballet Slippers. I finished with a coat of Seche gel top coat. Since Ballet Slippers is such a light color, it won't show too bad if my nails start growing out or if any chip. With how many coats of polish I have though, it should not chip (or in my experience it usually doesn't). Another bonus is that this color looks great with anything I will wear all weekend!

I'm back!! Happy Wednesday!! It's the second Wednesday of the month, so that means it's time for LET'S LOOK with Shay and Erika!! In January, we "looked" at How We Clean Our Closets.
