What's Up Wednesday {May 2024}

 How are we already at the end of May?? This year is flying right by! I'm linking up with Sheaffer and Shay to share all about our MAY!

1: WHAT WE'RE EATING THIS WEEK

Not a clue. I just got home yesterday from the beach, and we have no food. Like none at all.

This was my lunch yesterday. And then we had Panda Express for dinner 😂. I guess I'll head to the grocery store today to grab a few things!

2: WHAT I'M REMINISCING ABOUT

This view! I am not a huge beach person, but I do love this view!

3: WHAT I'M LOVING

New skincare! I've used Caudalie before, and I decided to get it again since I liked it so much. It's all pretty clean and smells so good.

4: WHAT WE'VE BEEN UP TO

While I was at the beach, Caleb was working and playing golf.

5: WHAT I'M DREADING

My summer classes start next week....booooooo.

6: WHAT I'M WORKING ON

This. Getting everything unpacked, washed, put away, etc. I started on it yesterday, but then I took a nap....

7: WHAT I'M EXCITED ABOUT

I'm super duper excited to be back in my own bed. HA!

8: WHAT I'M WATCHING/READING

We decided to rewatch The Big Bang Theory again after not being able to find anything new that interested us. Any suggestions??

I read It Ends With Us, and I'm waiting on my mom to finish It Starts With Us so I can read it!

9: WHAT I'M LISTENING TO

Well. Still this. I really think it's my favorite album!

10: WHAT I'M WEARING

Tennis skirts. A dress here and there. Nothing overly exciting. It is HOT.

11: WHAT I'M DOING THIS WEEKEND

Hopefully not a dang thing. We've been going, going, going for the past month, and I want to sit down and not do anything 😂.

12: WHAT I'M LOOKING FORWARD TO NEXT MONTH

Our 2nd anniversary, a wedding, a beach trip.....all the summer fun!

13: FAVORITE AMAZON PURCHASE THIS MONTH

I was long overdue for a good Amazon find.......How cute are these two necklaces?? I'll be wearing them all summer long! Beaded necklace | Seashell necklace

Friday Favorites {6.6.25}

 Happy Friday, friends!! How was your week? One of my summer classes started this week, so I have been getting back into a bit of a routine which is nice! As always, I am linking up with Erika and Andrea to share some faves from the week.  How cute is our new wreath sash?? My mom got it for us, and I am obsessed! Lots of food faves this week.... Another salsa I am now obsessed with! I found this at Aldi, and y'all it is SO good! I used it in a recipe, but I am definitely going to get another jar to eat for a snack or with lunch or dinner! Now for a Tik Tok "recipe". I used quotations, because it's really just a chop/open a can and throw together situation. Corn, black beans, pinto beans, onion, tomato, cilantro. I ate it with tortilla chips for lunch this week. It was so good! Next time, I would add more tomato and use less onion (maybe even no onion at all), and I should have chopped up the cilantro a little better! I also squeezed in some lime juice and added salt a...

Let's Look: January 2026

 Happy Wednesday!! Let's Look is one of my very favorite blog link ups and after not doing it last year, I am ready for it in 2026! I am linking up with Shay and Erika for this monthly series! Today, we are LOOKING at..... THINGS WE OUTSOURCE WITHOUT REGRET. Ok, there are so many things you can outsource that I just would rather do myself. I love to grocery shop. I think I would be weirded out by someone else doing my laundry. A house keeper is just not something we currently need or really want. BUT, there are occasions when outsourcing is just what needs to be done. Grocery Delivery/Pickup We don't do this often, but when we do it's pretty nice. That being said, I am usually ready to get back in the grocery store myself! Food Delivery This is another one we do not do often, but a Wednesday free delivery from Wingstop has sucked me in a few times 😂. And of course, pizza delivery is always nice! Plus, we can get food delivered to the school I work out, so that's nice e...

Friday Favorites {12.20.24}

 Happy Friday, friends!! And Merry Christmas Eve Eve Eve Eve Eve- that's a thing, right??😂 I'm linking up with Erika and Andrea today to share some faves from the week, and then I will be off for the holidays! My plan is to see y'all back here on January 13! For some food faves.... I grabbed the raspberry kringle at Aldi the other day after seeing so many positive reviews on it. It is really good!! I had some with a cup of coffee a couple times this week! Last night, Caleb made lasagna soup- YUM. Definitely a favorite of mine lately! A great way to end the night.... Caleb made me a cosmopolitan the other night. Yum! I am really going to miss this sight.... This is my favorite time of year for sure! Twinkly lights and candle light = the BEST.
