What's Up Wednesday {June 2024}

 Happy Wednesday!! I feel like I have said it every month, but dang June went by so quickly!! I'm linking up with Sheaffer and Shay to give you a look back at our month.....

 1: WHAT WE'RE EATING THIS WEEK

Monday night we ate breakfast. At the time I'm typing this we have not had our Tuesday dinner. Soooo....we'll see 😂. It's the week before vacation... #noplans

2: WHAT I'M REMINISCING ABOUT

The days when I didn't have a construction crew next door. I mean, they're not ruining my life or anything but I'm not excited about these two houses being built. I need to get a better attitude about this 😂.

3: WHAT I'M LOVING

This cup and iced coffee. My cup is from Homegoods!

4: WHAT WE'VE BEEN UP TO

Just before I started typing this post, I finished my last bit of school work for my June class!!

5: WHAT I'M DREADING

Post beach laundry. Ugh. Let's not think about that yet 😩.

6: WHAT I'M WORKING ON

PACKING. At least it's for a beach vacation 🙂.

7: WHAT I'M EXCITED ABOUT

The beeeeaaaaccchhhhh! Except y'all may know, I am NOT a beach person 😂. But I love a tropical destination. I just don't want to get in the ocean or have sand all over me......I'm weird. I know.

8: WHAT I'M WATCHING/READING

I have a few books loaded on my Kindle that I will hopefully read next week. If you haven't seen my recent book reviews, they are here.

As for watching, I am watching Yes, Dear for the millionth time- it's a fave!! We're also rewatching The Big Bang Theory, another fave! I really think I'm going to start Derry Girls soon- have any of you watched it?

9: WHAT I'M LISTENING TO

As I'm typing this.....

I feel like this song is very underrated, especially since it's the title track! I love it!

As you are reading this post, though, I will be listening to the newest episode of New Heights- I need to know every. little. detail about London from Jason and Travis!! If you had told me a year ago that I would be excited to listen to a podcast hosted by two football players, I would have called you insane 😂.

10: WHAT I'M WEARING

Not one exciting thing. Right now, I'm still in my workout clothes from this morning......

Friday Favorites {6.6.25}

 Happy Friday, friends!! How was your week? One of my summer classes started this week, so I have been getting back into a bit of a routine which is nice! As always, I am linking up with Erika and Andrea to share some faves from the week.  How cute is our new wreath sash?? My mom got it for us, and I am obsessed! Lots of food faves this week.... Another salsa I am now obsessed with! I found this at Aldi, and y'all it is SO good! I used it in a recipe, but I am definitely going to get another jar to eat for a snack or with lunch or dinner! Now for a Tik Tok "recipe". I used quotations, because it's really just a chop/open a can and throw together situation. Corn, black beans, pinto beans, onion, tomato, cilantro. I ate it with tortilla chips for lunch this week. It was so good! Next time, I would add more tomato and use less onion (maybe even no onion at all), and I should have chopped up the cilantro a little better! I also squeezed in some lime juice and added salt a...

Friday Favorites {12.20.24}

 Happy Friday, friends!! And Merry Christmas Eve Eve Eve Eve Eve- that's a thing, right??😂 I'm linking up with Erika and Andrea today to share some faves from the week, and then I will be off for the holidays! My plan is to see y'all back here on January 13! For some food faves.... I grabbed the raspberry kringle at Aldi the other day after seeing so many positive reviews on it. It is really good!! I had some with a cup of coffee a couple times this week! Last night, Caleb made lasagna soup- YUM. Definitely a favorite of mine lately! A great way to end the night.... Caleb made me a cosmopolitan the other night. Yum! I am really going to miss this sight.... This is my favorite time of year for sure! Twinkly lights and candle light = the BEST. On my drive home from work yesterday.... This was a fun little surprise. I don't remember this from last year! I hope you all have a great weekend and a very Merry Christmas and a Happy Holiday! Let's Look: January 2026

 Happy Wednesday!! Let's Look is one of my very favorite blog link ups and after not doing it last year, I am ready for it in 2026! I am linking up with Shay and Erika for this monthly series! Today, we are LOOKING at..... THINGS WE OUTSOURCE WITHOUT REGRET. Ok, there are so many things you can outsource that I just would rather do myself. I love to grocery shop. I think I would be weirded out by someone else doing my laundry. A house keeper is just not something we currently need or really want. BUT, there are occasions when outsourcing is just what needs to be done. Grocery Delivery/Pickup We don't do this often, but when we do it's pretty nice. That being said, I am usually ready to get back in the grocery store myself! Food Delivery This is another one we do not do often, but a Wednesday free delivery from Wingstop has sucked me in a few times 😂. And of course, pizza delivery is always nice! Plus, we can get food delivered to the school I work out, so that's nice e...
