Happy Wednesday!! Last week, we were in Grayton Beach on 30A, and I have lots to share with you! Here is PART ONE of our trip!
Saturday afternoon, we made it to Grayton, but our house was not quite ready. So, most everyone went to the beach, but my mom, step-dad, and I explored the shops close to our house.
We went in a few stores before deciding to just sit on a bench in the shade. We sat right outside of Hurricane Oyster Bar. After sitting for maybe 2 minutes (it was dang hot!!), we decided to go inside!
Rosé for me!
We hung out at the house for the rest of the evening. I read for a bit! (and this was the only time I picked up my Kindle for the whole week 🤦🏼♀️) We loved the house we stayed in! It's called Shore is Grayt.
The next morning, I woke up at 6 am- no alarm and no idea why I got up so early! So, I had a cup of coffee, and then a second cup of coffee, and then....
a third cup of coffee 😂. And all before 7:30!
It was a rainy Sunday morning, so we watched church, and later that afternoon, we went for a walk. How cute?
Pretty house #1.
Pretty house #2. I especially loved this entrance!
I took pictures of everything I thought looked pretty- ha!
Pretty house #3.
The cute surf shop!
Wine walk! To the pool.....
It was shallow on either side and deep in the middle!
That house tucked in the center was ours. It was such a great location! I think a mile or 2 to the beach. We also had a golf cart and four bikes, plus there was a parking lot close by the house where several trollies come and go to take you from the lot to the beach and back again.
Ok, that was PART ONE! I'll share the rest next week! Have a great Wednesday!
That sounds like a wonderful rental! I always wake up early no matter what time of year... our last vacation I was up at 4:30... which then means I'm so tired by like 7.
ReplyDeleteOh goodness! I used to get up at 4:30- I'm not sure what I was thinking 😂.
