Grayton Beach {Part Three}

Happy Wednesday! Today I'm sharing the third and final part of our Grayton Beach vacation over the Fourth of July holiday! Here are part one and two if you missed those!

Red, white, and FESTIVE! I love a theme!! Ready for the beach...it was insanely crowded on the 4th!

Time for some rosé on the porch! The second story balcony was screened in, which was so nice since we had three kids that are 5 and under.

Caleb and I made key lime pie, and it was DELISH as always!

Matching sisters ready for fireworks!

This house is right when you got to the beach entrance, and it is stunning! For some reason, it reminded of The Summer I Turned Pretty.

A beach sunset is the best sunset.

My best friend 💗.

And another. Always have to get a selfie!

Another sunset pic.

Me and my mama!

And another sunset pic. Ha!

Let the fireworks begin!

This picture makes me think of Disney! Kinda looks like pixie dust, right??

It just got prettier and prettier. I couldn't help myself!

Ok, not the best pic. But....we are STALKERS!! See that fam behind us? Well, we watch her on Tik Tok 😂. I didn't really mean to get them in my pic, we were just trying to figure out a way to casually walk up to her and not seem weird. We SO succeeded...NOT 😂😂. By the way, Calley Brady is her name if you want to check her out!

The sweetest picture I took all week. Gah I love that little boy so much!!

Friday morning, Caleb and I walked to Black Bear for breakfast before we headed out. Calley (ya know, the one we stalked!!) recommended this place. It did not disappoint for sure!! I will say it was a bit pricey, though.

It was so cute inside!

My coffee. I think it was a vanilla latte.

And the food. I mean, it really was delicious. I had a ham, egg, and cheese croissant and Caleb had a biscuit with egg, cheese, and bacon. We also shared a cinnamon roll.

I snapped a pic of this house on our street on our walk back. I thought it was so cute, and it reminded me of Tom and Lynette's house on Desperate Housewives!

And then it was time for goodbyes and a drive home!

We really had the best time ever!! Our family does not look quite the same as it used to, and for that I am so grateful! These people, this trip, the memories.......

Have a great day!!

Happy Friday!! I hope you all had a great week! I'm linking up with Erika and Andrea today to share some faves from my week. Well guess what is back tonight?? NEW Hallmark Christmas movies!! Ummm YAY!! I'm most excited about Confessions of a Christmas Letter (Angela from The Office is starring in that one!) and Holiday Touchdown: A Chiefs Love Story! For some foodie faves... This right here. It made my week. I'm obsessed with the tuna from Beagle Bagel. It's amazing. I can never say it enough! I made egg drop soup for the lunch the other day, and it was really good! It's always been my favorite soup from Chinese buffets. I didn't feel great and wanted a soup...luckily I had all the ingredients. I used this recipe here. The weather this week was absolute perfection.  I mean, it was really, really cool. And it was fabulous. So, that means.... I broke out a sweater and my Sorel booties that I love so much! I always forget how good the Bible app is. I opened it up...

Let's Look: September 2024

Hey, friends! I hope you are having a great week so far! Today is the September edition of Let's Look. But before I get into that, I want to talk a bit about today, September 11. Today is the 23rd anniversary of the attacks on 9/11. I was only one year old when this happened, so I obviously do not remember where I was or what I was doing or anything from this day. All I know is because of the people who continue to honor to victims and the heroes of this day. I have had the honor of visiting the memorial and museum in NYC twice now, and both times I have been were such an incredible experience. Visiting there is heavy. It is sad. It's informative. It's also beautiful to see how our country came together in such an awful time. I love this picture that I took on my last visit. The leaves in the picture are from a tree that survived everything from that day 23 years ago. It was transported to a greenhouse for a while, but it was eventually moved back, and I loved that I could...
