Grayton Beach {Part Two}

Happy Tuesday! Today, I'm sharing PART TWO of our recent trip to Grayton Beach! If you missed Part One, you can find it here.

I thought the entrance to this house was so cute! We may or may not have been standing on the side of the road after being pulled over on the golf cart 😂. Psa....if you are driving a golf cart on 30A, treat it like a car. Seatbelts, no kids in laps, have your license on hand......oopsie!

Ok, beach time finally! A sandwich on the beach is the best kind of sandwich!

I mean....like I've said before, I'm not a big beach person. But dang I sure love this sight!

Here's a little peak at the dune lake! The day we left the dune lake opened up to the ocean for the second time this year. I wish we had been able to see that.

That picture of the ocean above makes it seem like the beach wasn't crowded....it was not crazy, but there were lots of people!

Late night golf cart ride! This looked like a fun time!

On Tuesday, my mom and I took a trip over to Rosemary- basically the other end of 30A from Grayton. We wanted to stop in Seaside, but it was insane!

Rosemary is so pretty to me! It feels so fancy!

I took so many pics here- I love it!!

And the Post Office- how cute?!

It was HOT!! We went in a few stores before we decided to stop for lunch. We sat outside, and it was still pretty hot even in the shade, but y'all. The foooooooood. OMG! If you ever find yourself near here, make a stop at La Crema!

Another pretty pic!

Rosé for me and a Mango Tango for my mom! I loved this rosé so much that I hunted down a bottle that night!

Here's the info on it!

Ok, now for my food. Blue Crab Wontons. When I say they are amazing, I mean it with ever fiber of my being 😂. I so wish I had gotten a pic of my mom's too! She had the Seafood Paella (a g-free option!), and I had a few bites, too. It was sooooo good!!

So many pics of the water in my camera roll! New day, same pretty water!

And another.......

And another.

Caleb and I went in a little early and then walked to dinner at Hurricane Oyster Bar. It was super close to the house we stayed in!

I tried raw oysters for the first time! On a cracker, with lemon juice and some cocktail sauce. Not bad at all!

My Lobster Tacos were the best, though! Delish!!

We sat right by this Ole Miss flag- Hotty Toddy!!

And that wraps up Part Two! Have a great day!

  2. Beautiful! I'm not a huge beach person either but do enjoy a bit of time in the beach/sand with the sun.. I just can't sit all day or for a whole week. Even with some great books to read I start getting bored.
