Hello Monday {8.19.24}

 Hey friends, happy Monday! I'm back from vacation, and I can't wait to share all about it! But first, I'm here to link up with Holly and Sarah to share about our weekend.

We were up early Saturday morning to head home from our trip to Charleston. We stopped for the (very clean!) bathroom at Bucee's in Leeds, AL, and guess what I bought?? NOTHING. I can't believe it- ha! By that point in our trip I was so ready to be home and the approximately 300 people inside were making me want to leave ASAP.

As soon as we got home, I set up this new little area- see our new salt and pepper mills?? Did y'all know that Le Creuset has an outlet?? Well, we stumbled upon one in Charleston and the salt and pepper mills had to come home with me, plus.....

This mug!! My morning coffee gets 10 times better when I have a cute new mug to drink from. (P.S., here is a link to see where all outlets are located!)

Back home and where is the first place we eat? Mexican, DUH. Best way to do Sunday lunch!

And then we worked in the front flower beds. Well, Caleb worked and I held the trash bag 😉. I would show a before pic of our beds, but y'all. It's embarrassing. Weeds galore. But I will definitely show the after once we get it all done!

Friday Favorites {6.6.25}

 Happy Friday, friends!! How was your week? One of my summer classes started this week, so I have been getting back into a bit of a routine which is nice! As always, I am linking up with Erika and Andrea to share some faves from the week.  How cute is our new wreath sash?? My mom got it for us, and I am obsessed! Lots of food faves this week.... Another salsa I am now obsessed with! I found this at Aldi, and y'all it is SO good! I used it in a recipe, but I am definitely going to get another jar to eat for a snack or with lunch or dinner! Now for a Tik Tok "recipe". I used quotations, because it's really just a chop/open a can and throw together situation. Corn, black beans, pinto beans, onion, tomato, cilantro. I ate it with tortilla chips for lunch this week. It was so good! Next time, I would add more tomato and use less onion (maybe even no onion at all), and I should have chopped up the cilantro a little better! I also squeezed in some lime juice and added salt a...

Friday Favorites {12.20.24}

 Happy Friday, friends!! And Merry Christmas Eve Eve Eve Eve Eve- that's a thing, right??😂 I'm linking up with Erika and Andrea today to share some faves from the week, and then I will be off for the holidays! My plan is to see y'all back here on January 13! For some food faves.... I grabbed the raspberry kringle at Aldi the other day after seeing so many positive reviews on it. It is really good!! I had some with a cup of coffee a couple times this week! Last night, Caleb made lasagna soup- YUM. Definitely a favorite of mine lately! A great way to end the night.... Caleb made me a cosmopolitan the other night. Yum! I am really going to miss this sight.... This is my favorite time of year for sure! Twinkly lights and candle light = the BEST.
