Fall OOTD

 Hey friends, happy Thursday! I know it isn't *quite* fall, and fall weather is definitely far away, especially here in Mississippi. BUT I have to share this cute little fall outfit. After all, it is cold in my house 😂.

Comfy and casual- perfect for fall!! I'm just wearing a plain white tank underneath, but once it start getting colder, I may opt for a long sleeve tee. These are not the leggings I have on in the pic, but they are my favorite!

Here's a better look at the "shacket." It's not super thick, but will definitely be great for cooler days.

And for the shoes!

I haven't owned Converse in years, because I love a comfy sneaker. And to me, Converse just are not comfy. Except for these!! I saw a girl post about them on Tik Tok. She is a teacher and said they are perfect for being on your feet all day. They are incredibly comfy!! I sized down a half size. And a little psa...teachers and students get 20% off! First responder, healthcare workers, and military get 15% off.

 Happy Friday, friends!! Friday Favorites {10.18.24}

 Happy Friday!! I hope you all had a great week! I'm linking up with Erika and Andrea today to share some faves from my week. Well guess what is back tonight?? NEW Hallmark Christmas movies!! Ummm YAY!! I'm most excited about Confessions of a Christmas Letter (Angela from The Office is starring in that one!) and Holiday Touchdown: A Chiefs Love Story! For some foodie faves... This right here. It made my week. I'm obsessed with the tuna from Beagle Bagel. It's amazing. I can never say it enough! I made egg drop soup for the lunch the other day, and it was really good! It's always been my favorite soup from Chinese buffets. I didn't feel great and wanted a soup...luckily I had all the ingredients. I used this recipe here. The weather this week was absolute perfection.  I mean, it was really, really cool. And it was fabulous. So, that means.... I broke out a sweater and my Sorel booties that I love so much! Friday Favorites {6.6.25}

 Happy Friday, friends!! How was your week? One of my summer classes started this week, so I have been getting back into a bit of a routine which is nice! As always, I am linking up with Erika and Andrea to share some faves from the week.  How cute is our new wreath sash?? My mom got it for us, and I am obsessed! Lots of food faves this week.... Another salsa I am now obsessed with! I found this at Aldi, and y'all it is SO good! I used it in a recipe, but I am definitely going to get another jar to eat for a snack or with lunch or dinner! Now for a Tik Tok "recipe". I used quotations, because it's really just a chop/open a can and throw together situation. Corn, black beans, pinto beans, onion, tomato, cilantro. I ate it with tortilla chips for lunch this week. It was so good! Next time, I would add more tomato and use less onion (maybe even no onion at all), and I should have chopped up the cilantro a little better! I also squeezed in some lime juice and added salt a...
