Hello Monday {9.2.24}

 Happy Monday! Happy Labor Day! Happy September!! I hope you are all relaxing and enjoying today! I'm linking up with Holly and Sarah today for Hello Monday. Here's a little look at our weekend.

My Friday started off in the best way....a Gresham package arrived in my mailbox! I got these two bracelets for fall and winter. And...

These earrings that I thought would be so pretty around the holidays!

A cup of tea while I did school work!

Caleb came in the door from work saying he was ready to go eat. Well, SAME. We went to Mugshots and had to start off with some fried pickles.

We love the buns from Mugshots!

Saturday morning coffee.

The fall candles have been LIT. And the fall decor is out!

Then we headed to Lowe's for plants. We got Lantanas and Vincas with Angelonias.

That sure is a lot of mulch! And can you see my eye glasses under my sun glasses???😂😂

Caleb started getting the plants in the ground.

And then we made some appetizer-y foods for dinner.

Yay for college football!!

It started raining, but Caleb was determined to get all the plants in the ground that night. P.S. this was the first time it rained in all of August!

Sunday morning, we headed to visit with Caleb's grandparents. Chili's for lunch! Egg rolls and honey chipotle crispers are my favorite!

Time to put down the mulch! Cute gloves and jewelry....I don't think I was made for outside 😉.

Done and

DONE! I think it turned out great!

And just in time for a bit more rain!

Friday Favorites {6.6.25}

 Happy Friday, friends!! How was your week? One of my summer classes started this week, so I have been getting back into a bit of a routine which is nice! As always, I am linking up with Erika and Andrea to share some faves from the week.  How cute is our new wreath sash?? My mom got it for us, and I am obsessed! Lots of food faves this week.... Another salsa I am now obsessed with! I found this at Aldi, and y'all it is SO good! I used it in a recipe, but I am definitely going to get another jar to eat for a snack or with lunch or dinner! Now for a Tik Tok "recipe". I used quotations, because it's really just a chop/open a can and throw together situation. Corn, black beans, pinto beans, onion, tomato, cilantro. I ate it with tortilla chips for lunch this week. It was so good! Next time, I would add more tomato and use less onion (maybe even no onion at all), and I should have chopped up the cilantro a little better! I also squeezed in some lime juice and added salt a...

Friday Favorites {12.20.24}

 Happy Friday, friends!! And Merry Christmas Eve Eve Eve Eve Eve- that's a thing, right??😂 I'm linking up with Erika and Andrea today to share some faves from the week, and then I will be off for the holidays! My plan is to see y'all back here on January 13! For some food faves.... I grabbed the raspberry kringle at Aldi the other day after seeing so many positive reviews on it. It is really good!! I had some with a cup of coffee a couple times this week! Last night, Caleb made lasagna soup- YUM. Definitely a favorite of mine lately! A great way to end the night.... Caleb made me a cosmopolitan the other night. Yum! I am really going to miss this sight.... This is my favorite time of year for sure! Twinkly lights and candle light = the BEST.
