Hello Monday {9.23.24}

 Happy Monday!! It's officially FALL!! Today I am linking up with Holly and Sarah to share about my weekend!

I started my Friday morning off by cutting down those press on nails. They were just way too long for me- ha! They're still a bit longer than my natural nail, but they'll do for now.

Friday OOTD! I am obsessed with these jeans!! I got my shirt from a local boutique, but here it is on the Farm Rio site.

We spent the evening watching my youngest brother play football! I can't believe he is a senior! We love #13!!!

For the first time in forever, we were all together in one place, at the same time! My brother and Reid left early, but we did get to see them!

Even though it was almost 1 o'clock, I still read for a minute once we got home!

Saturday morning, I did some school work. But, I paused for a bit to eat Wingstop! YUM. We got hot honey tenders, lemon pepper tenders, original hot boneless wings, sweet bbq boneless wings, fries, and of course lots of ranch! We had a ton leftover too and ate it for dinner!

I decided to go outside to do my assignment after lunch. We live about 5 minutes from Mississippi State's campus, and I head the band while I was out there!

Caleb had to get some things from Walmart for work, and of course I had to get some things for myself- ha! Diet Coke and candy corn!

A perfect fall evening!

A Sunday morning tea was much needed! We took a little day trip to Birmingham with my sister and her boyfriend

Our first stop was lunch at Cheesecake Factory! I didn't get a picture, but we got buffalo blasts as an appetizer, and they were delish.

I got the spicy cashew chicken. It was so good, but it wasn't spicy at all.

The chocolate mousse cheesecake was fabulous! I'm glad Libbey and I shared though!

Love these people!! After lunch, we ran in Anthro for a minute, then made a Trader Joe's run, and our last stop was World Market.

It was such a fun and BUSY weekend! I'm tired- ha! Have a great Monday!

Let's Look: September 2024

 Hey, friends! I hope you are having a great week so far! Today is the September edition of Let's Look. But before I get into that, I want to talk a bit about today, September 11. Today is the 23rd anniversary of the attacks on 9/11. I was only one year old when this happened, so I obviously do not remember where I was or what I was doing or anything from this day. All I know is because of the people who continue to honor to victims and the heroes of this day. I have had the honor of visiting the memorial and museum in NYC twice now, and both times I have been were such an incredible experience. Visiting there is heavy. It is sad. It's informative. It's also beautiful to see how our country came together in such an awful time. I love this picture that I took on my last visit. The leaves in the picture are from a tree that survived everything from that day 23 years ago. It was transported to a greenhouse for a while, but it was eventually moved back, and I loved that I could...

Friday Favorites {10.18.24}

 Happy Friday!! I hope you all had a great week! I'm linking up with Erika and Andrea today to share some faves from my week. Well guess what is back tonight?? NEW Hallmark Christmas movies!! Ummm YAY!! I'm most excited about Confessions of a Christmas Letter (Angela from The Office is starring in that one!) and Holiday Touchdown: A Chiefs Love Story! For some foodie faves... This right here. It made my week. I'm obsessed with the tuna from Beagle Bagel. It's amazing. I can never say it enough! I made egg drop soup for the lunch the other day, and it was really good! It's always been my favorite soup from Chinese buffets. I didn't feel great and wanted a soup...luckily I had all the ingredients. I used this recipe here. The weather this week was absolute perfection.  I mean, it was really, really cool. And it was fabulous. So, that means.... I broke out a sweater and my Sorel booties that I love so much! I always forget how good the Bible app is. I opened it up...
