What's Up Wednesday {September 2024}

 How in the world is it already the end of September??? I'm linking up with Sheaffer and Shay to share all about our September!

1: WHAT WE'RE EATING THIS WEEK

Our options for the week are....

Appetizers for dinner! I got the Trader Joe's pepper jelly, so we're having that over a block of cream cheese and served with wheat thins, and I'm making Shay's Maple Sausage Balls!

Tuna steaks with baked potatoes (sweet potato for me!)

P.F. Chang's via the freezer section at Kroger

I got some hummus to have with veggies for light lunch or a snack.

And it will be raining a couple of nights, so I'm thinking a crock pot soup will be perfect! Shay's Buffalo Ranch Chicken Tortilla is my absolute favorite!

2: WHAT I'M REMINISCING ABOUT

Well....Sunday marks TEN YEARS since Caleb and I started dating way back in 9th grade. So, I'll be reminiscing over that and wondering where in the world all those years went! Here are some fun pics from the last 10 years.....

3: WHAT I'M LOVING

That it's officially fall!

4: WHAT WE'VE BEEN UP TO

This past weekend was crazy busy! We went to watch my brother play football on Friday night, I did school work, Sunday we made a little day trip to Birmingham. Now, I think we are just trying to catch our (and catch up on sleep!) from all of that!

5: WHAT I'M DREADING

Honestly, not a thing.

6: WHAT I'M WORKING ON

School, making last minute friendship bracelets, a gigantic pile of laundry, cleaning out my closet- a whole bunch of randomness.

7: WHAT I'M EXCITED ABOUT

Sweater. Weather. Amen!

8: WHAT I'M WATCHING/READING

I am currently reading this. Review coming soon!

I think I need to go watch Hocus Pocus!

9: WHAT I'M LISTENING TO

Well. Y'all know this. Ha! Seriously, it is such a great album!

10: WHAT I'M WEARING

Some days I'm just going full out fall and pretending it's not super hot- ha!

11: WHAT I'M DOING THIS WEEKEND

I'm not sure yet!

12: WHAT I'M LOOKING FORWARD TO NEXT MONTH

TAYLOR. SWIFT. Y'all, October is Eras month!! Woohoo! I cannot even describe how excited I am about it! I bought the tickets over a year ago, and I cannot believe how fast that year went by. We are seeing her at the end of the month, so all the last minute prep is going to consume my brain all month long!

13: FAVORITE AMAZON PURCHASE THIS MONTH

Ok, call me a liar. Last month I said I was going to start eliminating this prompt, because Amazon let me down recently. Weeellllll, I went back on my word and ordered a few things from Amazon. This "shacket" is definitely a fave! So cute for this time of year!

Friday Favorites {12.8.23}

  Happy Friday, friends!! Today I'm linking up with Erika and Andrea to bring you some favorites from my week!  If you missed yesterday's post, it was my ONE YEAR BLOGIVERSARY! One year ago, I set out to do something I've wanted to do for a very long time. I have loved this year of blogging! If you come here each week to read my blog, THANK YOU!! I appreciate your support more than you know!  I have loved the truffles from Aldi, so when I saw these chocolates I knew I had to try them. They are AMAZING. I've been eating a bit of some each night after dinner! If you see them, grab them!  I think I feel more like an adult when I have fresh flowers in the kitchen 😂. These red carnations are so cheerful!  A couple months ago, Caleb decided we needed an espresso machine...so on Black Friday he found one on a pretty good deal and went for it. We're considering it our Christmas to each other 😉. Friends, I mean it when I say if I never go back to Starbucks again, I would

Let's Look: March 2024

  I'm back!! Happy Wednesday!! It's the second Wednesday of the month, so that means it's time for LET'S LOOK with Shay and Erika!! In January, we "looked" at How We Clean Our Closets. In February, we "looked" at Little Things We Do Every Single Day. Today, we are "looking" at..... OUR GROCERY CARTS!!  Since I was in Nashville over the weekend, I had to run in Trader Joe's! So, I went ahead and did my grocery shopping for the week while I was there. Plus some other goodies too!  When I went to the TJ's in Huntsville, I said it was my favorite. BUT, I have found a new favorite. There are two locations in Nashville, and I've now been to both. The one on White Bridge Pike is FABULOUS! They had every single thing on my list, and then some. I've been to the other location over by Green Hills Mall, but I didn't look around much, so I can't really attest to how that one is.  I snapped this picture of my grocery cart! This i
