Hello Monday {10.21.24}

 Hello Monday!! I hope you all had a great weekend! I am linking up with Holly and Sarah to share all about mine.

I started Friday off with school work. Such fun.

And listening to Taylor! Ooooollllddddd Taylor on this day!

And what did we have for dinner? Well, Mexican of course!

After dinner, we ran to Lowe's, where they had out....

ALL. THE. CHRISTMAS. I'm so dang ready!

We picked up one of these while at Lowe's. We have had a big issue with flies lately, so hopping this helps!

To end the night, we watched Friends.

Saturday morning coffee and college football!

And then I got started on more school work, and I had a cup of tea.

We had Chick-fil-a for lunch. If you've never had one of their chocolate chip cookies, you are missing out. They are the BEST, especially when they're still warm!

We made our way to the grocery.

I got this, because I've been sick all week long. It has definitely helped with my congestion.

Dinner was finger foods- our go to Saturday dinner! Buffalo chicken dip, pigs in a blanket, and mini corn dogs.

I had another cup of tea before bed.

Sunday morning, we were planning to go to church, but I was coughing like crazy and didn't feel great so we decided to stay home. I stayed in my pjs until about 3, when I took a bath and got into new pjs! I had some leftover buffalo chicken dip as a snack.

And then we had pizza for dinner. We love the pizzas from Aldi!

Have a happy Monday!

Friday Favorites {10.18.24}

 Happy Friday!! I hope you all had a great week! I'm linking up with Erika and Andrea today to share some faves from my week. Well guess what is back tonight?? NEW Hallmark Christmas movies!! Ummm YAY!! I'm most excited about Confessions of a Christmas Letter (Angela from The Office is starring in that one!) and Holiday Touchdown: A Chiefs Love Story! For some foodie faves... This right here. It made my week. I'm obsessed with the tuna from Beagle Bagel. It's amazing. I can never say it enough! I made egg drop soup for the lunch the other day, and it was really good! It's always been my favorite soup from Chinese buffets. I didn't feel great and wanted a soup...luckily I had all the ingredients. I used this recipe here. The weather this week was absolute perfection.  I mean, it was really, really cool. And it was fabulous. So, that means.... I broke out a sweater and my Sorel booties that I love so much! I always forget how good the Bible app is. I opened it up...

Let's Look: September 2024

 Hey, friends! I hope you are having a great week so far! Today is the September edition of Let's Look. But before I get into that, I want to talk a bit about today, September 11. Today is the 23rd anniversary of the attacks on 9/11. I was only one year old when this happened, so I obviously do not remember where I was or what I was doing or anything from this day. All I know is because of the people who continue to honor to victims and the heroes of this day. I have had the honor of visiting the memorial and museum in NYC twice now, and both times I have been were such an incredible experience. Visiting there is heavy. It is sad. It's informative. It's also beautiful to see how our country came together in such an awful time. I love this picture that I took on my last visit. The leaves in the picture are from a tree that survived everything from that day 23 years ago. It was transported to a greenhouse for a while, but it was eventually moved back, and I loved that I could...
