The Eras Tour 2024

Welcome to The Eras Tour (recap!)!!! Sunday night, Libbey and I went to Taylor Swift's third show in New Orleans, and it was AMAZING! We had such a fun time, and we are both super sad that's it over....BUT we now have these memories to last us a lifetime!

If you remember, I bought the tickets in October of 2023....377 days went by so fast and slow at the same time, and I can't believe it's over.

The friendship bracelets on the Superdome were too cute!

Our first look at the stage once we were inside! I was super impressed with how smoothly entering went. The gates opened at 4:30, and we walked up around 4:40/4:45 and walked right in.

We were WAY at the top...this escalator was SO steep!

The view from our seats! We were in the highest section, but our view was amazing! We could see everything...we got to see Taylor coming in in the cleaning cart, we could see her before she came up out of the stage and when she would go back under and run off, we also saw them taking away the TTPD bed behind the stage. We kept saying how great of a view we had, even though it was so high, it was so, so good!

I did my nails all the colors of the different eras.

Merch line! We both got the gray half zip sweatshirt, and I got a tshirt too. We were so shocked, because they had everything in stock even after waiting an hour in the line.

Gracie Abrams started right as we were walking back to our seats. She was awesome!

Eeeeeek!! It was almost time!

I'm so glad I got to experience this with my sister 💗

There was a group of three ladies sitting next to us that were so sweet! One of them took pictures for us.

The countdown was ON! This part was so dang exciting!

I was afraid we wouldn't be able to see the performance of "The Man" but we had a great view!

The way the crowd erupted after "Champagne Problems" was insane! The screams were so loud and they just went on and on and on. It was such a fun moment!

I took quite a few pictures and videos, but I also put my phone down as much as possible so that I could just soak it all in. It was the most fun night!! I now understand the people who have been to multiple Eras shows, because it was just so phenomenal.....I could absolutely go back to another show (or two!).

And just like that, it was over. 3.5 hours went by super fast! We had SO much fun!! I really think we should do it again soon 😂.

Happy Friday, friends!! How was your week? One of my summer classes started this week, so I have been getting back into a bit of a routine which is nice! As always, I am linking up with Erika and Andrea to share some faves from the week.  How cute is our new wreath sash?? My mom got it for us, and I am obsessed! Lots of food faves this week.... Another salsa I am now obsessed with! I found this at Aldi, and y'all it is SO good! I used it in a recipe, but I am definitely going to get another jar to eat for a snack or with lunch or dinner! Now for a Tik Tok "recipe". I used quotations, because it's really just a chop/open a can and throw together situation. Corn, black beans, pinto beans, onion, tomato, cilantro. I ate it with tortilla chips for lunch this week. It was so good! Next time, I would add more tomato and use less onion (maybe even no onion at all), and I should have chopped up the cilantro a little better! I also squeezed in some lime juice and added salt a...

Happy last Friday of August! As always, I am here to link up with Erika and Andrea to share some faves from my week.  To be honest, it feels out of touch to make this post. After the devastating news of yet another school shooting, my heart is so heavy. Innocent lives taken and still no changes from people in power. I honestly do not know how anyone can see news like this and not be enraged and demanding for change. I do not get political on here, because that is not what I want for this space. However, I feel the need to share my thoughts about this. America needs gun control. ALL Americans need access to healthcare, especially when it comes to mental health. America needs change. Remember these things when you vote. Think about your babies, their friends, their teachers. Stay aware, stay educated. But also please make sure you spend time doing things that bring you joy (it's good for your mental health!). That is at least what I am going to do. With that being said, here ar...
