Hello Monday {11.18.24}

 Happy Monday!! As always, I am linking up with Holly and Sarah today to share all about my weekend!

My Friday morning...school work, sausage balls, and a second cup of coffee!

I ran some errands....

Look what Aldi had! These are the BEST.

And my Friday afternoon...waiting on Caleb to get home, so we could head out of town.

And where was out first stop? Chili's. Our fave...with two of our faves!

At one point, I had three Diet Cokes in front of me. Because that is just what I needed- ha!

Saturday morning was a slow one...I didn't wake up until almost 9 😳. We grabbed an early lunch at Martin's with Caleb's parents.

I did a little shopping at Hobby Lobby and Walmart, and then it was time to head to my mom's to get ready for Friendsgiving!

I set up the wine glasses! The pink and purple in the back are Estelle, but the rest are from Amazon- aren't they cute?!

The only other pic I got the whole night. We had a lot of fun!

Sunday morning Starbucks thanks to Libbey and Cayden!

We ate Mexican for lunch, and then...

I ran in Michaels, because I wanted to get stuff to make an ornament wreath.

And then we were back on the road to get home.


I sat down to make the wreath and to watch Confessions of a Christmas Letter on Hallmark. It was so cute! (Angela from The Office was the main character!)

    I was wondering how that movie was- will have to check it out! Sounds like Friendsgiving was wonderful-love your glasses

 Happy Friday, friends!! And Merry Christmas Eve Eve Eve Eve Eve- that's a thing, right??😂 I'm linking up with Erika and Andrea today to share some faves from the week, and then I will be off for the holidays! My plan is to see y'all back here on January 13! For some food faves.... I grabbed the raspberry kringle at Aldi the other day after seeing so many positive reviews on it. It is really good!! I had some with a cup of coffee a couple times this week! Last night, Caleb made lasagna soup- YUM. Definitely a favorite of mine lately! A great way to end the night.... Friday Favorites {6.6.25}

 Happy Friday, friends!! How was your week? One of my summer classes started this week, so I have been getting back into a bit of a routine which is nice! As always, I am linking up with Erika and Andrea to share some faves from the week.  How cute is our new wreath sash?? My mom got it for us, and I am obsessed! Lots of food faves this week.... Another salsa I am now obsessed with! I found this at Aldi, and y'all it is SO good! I used it in a recipe, but I am definitely going to get another jar to eat for a snack or with lunch or dinner! Now for a Tik Tok "recipe". I used quotations, because it's really just a chop/open a can and throw together situation. Corn, black beans, pinto beans, onion, tomato, cilantro. I ate it with tortilla chips for lunch this week. It was so good! Next time, I would add more tomato and use less onion (maybe even no onion at all), and I should have chopped up the cilantro a little better! I also squeezed in some lime juice and added salt a...

Friday Favorites {8.29.25}

 Happy last Friday of August! As always, I am here to link up with Erika and Andrea to share some faves from my week.  To be honest, it feels out of touch to make this post. After the devastating news of yet another school shooting, my heart is so heavy. Innocent lives taken and still no changes from people in power. I honestly do not know how anyone can see news like this and not be enraged and demanding for change. I do not get political on here, because that is not what I want for this space. However, I feel the need to share my thoughts about this. America needs gun control. ALL Americans need access to healthcare, especially when it comes to mental health. America needs change. Remember these things when you vote. Think about your babies, their friends, their teachers. Stay aware, stay educated. But also please make sure you spend time doing things that bring you joy (it's good for your mental health!). That is at least what I am going to do. With that being said, here ar...
