Hello Monday {11.4.24}

Happy Monday, friends! I had a super festive and fun weekend, and I am linking up with Holly and Sarah for Hello Monday to share all about it!

Friday morning started with me taking down all the fall/Halloween decor to make way for Christmas!! I listened to my fave Christmas song to get in the spirit even more so than I already was!

I made a ricotta mixture for our delicious dinner.

I didn't take any pictures, but I met Caleb and his dad, brother, and grandfather for lunch at our favorite Starkville spot- The Grill.

Lasagna soup for dinner! Definitely one of my very favorites!!

Caleb indulged me in watching a Christmas movie while we ate and decorated. We watched Christmas with the Kranks! No matter how many times I watch it, it does not get old. I love it!

Super festive Saturday morning coffee. YUM. My mom, step-dad, and Mimi got to our house around 1 am!

Our Saturday appetizer before we ordered Papa Johns. I am now adding basil and salt and vinegar chips to all of my cheese boards from now until forever. So good!

Afternoon coffee and football- a favorite!

We did a little shopping at Marshall's and Aldi. I bought entirely too much, but everything was basically a "necessity" 😉. I mean, it was mostly all wrapping essentials for the holiday season, so I say necessity!

And we found ourselves back at The Grill. See...a favorite!

Loaded queso to start. It was really good!

I got blackened catfish. It had some sort of cajun sauce and had jalapeño cheddar grits underneath. YUM.

GLUTEN FREE peach and white chocolate bread pudding. My mom is GF due to an allergy, so this was a must, and it was fabulous!

Wine by tree light after dinner!

Another festive coffee on Sunday morning. This time with Aldi's almond milk peppermint mocha creamer. SO good!! And then we went back to Marshall's- ha!

And then it was back on school work with a glass of wine. Such fun!

Have a happy Monday!

Friday Favorites {12.8.23}

  Happy Friday, friends!! Today I'm linking up with Erika and Andrea to bring you some favorites from my week!  If you missed yesterday's post, it was my ONE YEAR BLOGIVERSARY! One year ago, I set out to do something I've wanted to do for a very long time. I have loved this year of blogging! If you come here each week to read my blog, THANK YOU!! I appreciate your support more than you know!  I have loved the truffles from Aldi, so when I saw these chocolates I knew I had to try them. They are AMAZING. I've been eating a bit of some each night after dinner! If you see them, grab them!  I think I feel more like an adult when I have fresh flowers in the kitchen 😂. These red carnations are so cheerful!  A couple months ago, Caleb decided we needed an espresso machine...so on Black Friday he found one on a pretty good deal and went for it. We're considering it our Christmas to each other 😉. Friends, I mean it when I say if I never go back to Starbucks again, I would

Let's Look: March 2024

  I'm back!! Happy Wednesday!! It's the second Wednesday of the month, so that means it's time for LET'S LOOK with Shay and Erika!! In January, we "looked" at How We Clean Our Closets. In February, we "looked" at Little Things We Do Every Single Day. Today, we are "looking" at..... OUR GROCERY CARTS!!  Since I was in Nashville over the weekend, I had to run in Trader Joe's! So, I went ahead and did my grocery shopping for the week while I was there. Plus some other goodies too!  When I went to the TJ's in Huntsville, I said it was my favorite. BUT, I have found a new favorite. There are two locations in Nashville, and I've now been to both. The one on White Bridge Pike is FABULOUS! They had every single thing on my list, and then some. I've been to the other location over by Green Hills Mall, but I didn't look around much, so I can't really attest to how that one is.  I snapped this picture of my grocery cart! This i
