Hello Monday {12.9.24}

 Happy Monday!! I am linking up with Holly and Sarah today to share all about my weekend!

This pretty much sums up my semester...😂 I wrapped up the fall semester on Friday- yay!

Caleb was working late, so I grabbed us Chick-fil-a and ate with him at his job site. Then, I went home to watch Sabrina's Christmas special on Netflix. It was so good!

Saturday morning, I went to return my text books that I rented for the semester. Then, we had hibachi for lunch. I told Caleb I really think his version on the Blackstone is much better!

We kind of just laid around the rest of the afternoon before....

Getting ready for Caleb's work Christmas party! This was my outfit of choice!

I added some fun bling- these are from Amazon!

Sunday morning coffee and devotional before church. The children's choir led worship, and it was so precious!

And I bet you can guess where we had lunch....

I mean. It's our fave. Well, my fave at least 😂. I could seriously eat it multiple times a week.

We did our weekly grocery run, and then went home and changed for....

Wicked!! It was SO good! My mom and I saw Wicked on Broadway a little over 7 years ago, and I remember loving it so so much. But honestly, I don't remember much from the show. The movie was really amazing though! I think Cynthia Erivo and Ariana Grande did a really fabulous job! And can we talk about Cynthia's voice for a sec?? I mean, incredible!

Ok, for a little throwback...

Here's me and my mom at Wicked! The things I do remember are 1...we were on the very last row, and I think we had the very best view!, 2....it was FREEZING in that theatre!!, and 3...I remember blasting the soundtrack for weeks when we got home!

I made fudge last night- I'm starting to make all of our favorite holiday treats! This one is super easy- a bag of chocolate chips (I used milk, but semi sweet works too), a can of sweetened condensed milk, and a splash of vanilla. Melt everything over the stove and let it set in the refrigerator for a couple hours. So easy and so good!

Have a happy Monday!!

Friday Favorites {6.6.25}

 Happy Friday, friends!! How was your week? One of my summer classes started this week, so I have been getting back into a bit of a routine which is nice! As always, I am linking up with Erika and Andrea to share some faves from the week.  How cute is our new wreath sash?? My mom got it for us, and I am obsessed! Lots of food faves this week.... Another salsa I am now obsessed with! I found this at Aldi, and y'all it is SO good! I used it in a recipe, but I am definitely going to get another jar to eat for a snack or with lunch or dinner! Now for a Tik Tok "recipe". I used quotations, because it's really just a chop/open a can and throw together situation. Corn, black beans, pinto beans, onion, tomato, cilantro. I ate it with tortilla chips for lunch this week. It was so good! Next time, I would add more tomato and use less onion (maybe even no onion at all), and I should have chopped up the cilantro a little better! I also squeezed in some lime juice and added salt a...

Friday Favorites {8.29.25}

 Happy last Friday of August! As always, I am here to link up with Erika and Andrea to share some faves from my week.  To be honest, it feels out of touch to make this post. After the devastating news of yet another school shooting, my heart is so heavy. Innocent lives taken and still no changes from people in power. I honestly do not know how anyone can see news like this and not be enraged and demanding for change. I do not get political on here, because that is not what I want for this space. However, I feel the need to share my thoughts about this. America needs gun control. ALL Americans need access to healthcare, especially when it comes to mental health. America needs change. Remember these things when you vote. Think about your babies, their friends, their teachers. Stay aware, stay educated. But also please make sure you spend time doing things that bring you joy (it's good for your mental health!). That is at least what I am going to do. With that being said, here ar...
