Friday Favorites {1.31.25}

 Happy Friday, friends! And happy LAST DAY OF JANUARY!🎉🎉🎉 I'm headed to Nashville today, but first I am linking up with Erika and Andrea to share some faves from the week! I've used these before, but I don't think I have ever shared about them before! Such a nice way to relax and get your mind and body ready for sleep! I know I shared about these tan drops before, but I'm sharing them again, because they are so good! I mix in a few drops with my moisturizer for my face, and a few more drops in with lotion for the rest of my body! This made me LOL. It's so true, though! Y'all know how much I love Mexican food 😂. I'm willing to bet that the waiters have lost all sense of feeling in their hands! These wedges came up as an ad for me on Instagram. I'm obsessed! I maaaayyyy need to just go ahead and buy them! Have a happy weekend and a fabulous start to a new month!!

Monthly Musings {January 2025}

 Happy Thursday! We are sooo close to the weekend and so close to February! I am linking up with Holly and Patty today for the first Monthly Musings of 2025! 1. What do you do to stay warm in the winter? Heated blanket!! I'm using mine as I type this! 2. Favorite wintertime activity? Staying inside. Where it's warm. 😂 3. Any different beauty routines in winter? Lots of extra moisture! My skin gets so dry in the winter. Whether it's thick night creams, serums, or oils, I just like to lock in as much moisture as possible. 4. Skating, sledding, or skiing? I hug the wall when I ice skate. I've never been sledding. I have never tried to ski. I don't get out too much in the winter- ha! 5. Favorite winter recipes? All the soups, red beans and rice, and baked goods! 6. Favorite winter hot beverage? Coffee! 7. Best winter memories? Anytime it has ever snowed way down here in Mississippi! 8. Coldest day that you remember? Last year around MLK Jr. Day...we had lots of ice on ...

What's Up Wednesday {January 2025}

 Today is the first What's Up Wednesday of 2025! Ok, FINALLY. We are almost to the end of January, y'all! I'm here to link up with Sheaffer and Shay to share about this extremely long month! 1: WHAT WE'RE EATING THIS WEEK Frozen pizza, sausage pasta, red beans and rice, probably Chick-fil-a at some point.... 2: WHAT I'M REMINISCING ABOUT SUMMER. Gosh, I'm so excited for summer! I've said it a million times, I am not a beach person...But goodness I love this view and I LOVED that trip!! 3: WHAT I'M LOVING This nail color. I am usually not one to repeat nail colors back to back, but I think this is my new staple! It goes with everything, and I think it looks good with every skin tone! It's very similar to Essie's Ballet Slippers (I throw that one in the mix sometimes!), but it's a bit more pink. 4: WHAT WE'VE BEEN UP TO We spent our first full weekend at home together since Thanksgiving this past weekend! It was so nice. We really didn...

Valentine's Outfits

 We are very slowly approaching Valentine's Day (will January ever end??), but I've got some outfits to share today that will be perfect for the holiday! Ok, before I share any outfits....are you a one day only celebrator or do you celebrate for weeks?? Once our Christmas decor is down, we're putting out all the Valentine's things! I'm also wearing all the cute and festive clothes too! I grabbed this shirt when I was in Dallas earlier this month, and I think it is so cute for Valentine's! The colors are perfect, and the ruffles just make it so cute! Caslon is one of my favorite brands at Nordstrom- and for good reason! They always have the cutest casual wear. This tshirt is adorable! I love this one too! The hearts are just so sweet. Dress the Population is another great brand at Nordstrom! This dress in the red or any of the pink shades would be so pretty for a nice dinner out. I think it's very classic and elegant! Ok, I had no idea Charming Charlie was...

Hello Monday {1.27.25}

 Hello Monday!! I hope you all had a great weekend! I am linking up with Holly and Sarah today to share about mine. Friday night started off in the best way...a spicy marg, diet coke, and my fave food. A little Friday night funny. Why is January so dang long??? Saturday morning coffee is always so nice. We did our grocery shopping, and I got some fresh fruit....having it like this in the fridge makes me more likely to eat it! I am also making smoothies with it and adding spinach. Ok, so I decided to grab the Aldi brand Diet Cola...it actually is pretty good. It kind of tastes more like Diet Pepsi to me, though. Around 5, I decided to take a hot bath! And a Saturday night save. One of my favorite verses! Sunday morning we went to church, and then ate at Georgia Blue afterwards. The duck wontons are amazing! I had seafood linguine as my meal. YUM. After we got home, I went right to doing school work and stayed there until about 8- ugh. Cereal for dinner while I worked! Have a great M...

Friday Favorites {1.24.25}

 Finally Friday!! Whew it has been a WEEK. I'm linking up with Andrea and Erika today to share some favorites from my week. This weeks favorites are simple. Just little "glimmers" basically from the week. Kelsea Ballerini just started her tour this week! My sister and I are going soon, and we are so excited! I loved this pic that Kelsea posted on her Instagram.  Soooo, I do not like eggs very much. They just gross me out real bad. But, I can usually eat them if someone else makes them- especially scrambled eggs. Well, I made these myself this week and actually ate them. I mean, that was a win to me! Plus, that Hawaiian style sausage was delish! Yesterday I shared these three shoes , and that got me super ready for summer! Anyone else?? I hope you all have a great weekend!
