Dallas Vacay!

Happy Wednesday! A couple weeks ago, we traveled to Dallas with Caleb's family and today I'm sharing all about our trip!

We headed out super early on a Friday morning- we were leaving early enough to make it in time for our tour at AT&T Stadium.

I loved this wall when you first walk in.

The view from the press box! To be honest....I was not too keen on the idea of a football focused weekend. It's just not something I care a lot about. But, it was pretty cool to see all of the behind the scenes type things.

After the tour, we ate at Grease Monkey- it was right by the stadium. I had the chicken and strawberry salad- it was really good! After lunch, we got settled in our hotel before we decided what we would do next.

Mall time!! My main focus was heading to Nordstrom, but I had to stop in Golden Goose on the way.

I browsed each floor at Nordstrom for quite some time, but this was the only thing I walked out with.

Do all Nordstroms have a spa?? I don't think I've ever seen one in any location I've been to. I want to go to one now 😂.

We chatted about what to have for dinner for quite a while before deciding to get Papa Johns delivered to the hotel.

Saturday morning we headed to the Fort Worth Stockyards. We saw the longhorns- that was really neat!

Then we had lunch at Risckys Barbeque- I'm not sure that any of us were huge fans, but their fried pickles were really good!

We walked through some of the stores at the Stockyards...one of them being Lucchese- dang those boots are pricey but pretty!

Before we left, we decided to head over to Billy Bob's. It was pretty early in the afternoon, so it wasn't super busy. The guys played pool for a little bit before we headed to....

Top Golf! We ate dinner here too and then went back to the hotel to get ready for the game the next day.

Sunday was devoted to the Cowboys/Commanders game. We aren't actually fans, but it was just something to do. My sister in law also wanted to see the cheerleaders, which was pretty fun. After the game, we went back to the hotel for a while to rest and get ready for dinner. We landed on......

P.F. Chang's! Always a favorite!

Monday morning, we headed out pretty early. We made a stop at Bucee's of course!

And that was our Dallas vacay!

Let's Look: March 2024

I'm back!! Happy Wednesday!! It's the second Wednesday of the month, so that means it's time for LET'S LOOK with Shay and Erika!! In January, we "looked" at How We Clean Our Closets. In February, we "looked" at Little Things We Do Every Single Day. Today, we are "looking" at..... OUR GROCERY CARTS!!  Since I was in Nashville over the weekend, I had to run in Trader Joe's! So, I went ahead and did my grocery shopping for the week while I was there. Plus some other goodies too!  When I went to the TJ's in Huntsville, I said it was my favorite. BUT, I have found a new favorite. There are two locations in Nashville, and I've now been to both. The one on White Bridge Pike is FABULOUS! They had every single thing on my list, and then some. I've been to the other location over by Green Hills Mall, but I didn't look around much, so I can't really attest to how that one is.  I snapped this picture of my grocery cart! This i...

It's always been my favorite soup from Chinese buffets. I didn't feel great and wanted a soup...luckily I had all the ingredients. I used this recipe here. The weather this week was absolute perfection.  I mean, it was really, really cool. And it was fabulous. So, that means.... I broke out a sweater and my Sorel booties that I love so much! I always forget how good the Bible app is. I opened it up...
