Hello Monday {1.13.25}

 Well hello Monday!!! I am happy to be back on my blog today after a great holiday break! We have lots to catch up on, but I'll just give you a recap of this past weekend for now. I'm linking up with Holly and Sarah for Hello Monday.

My Friday morning view- a very southern winter wonderland! We don't get it often, and it isn't anything spectacular....but we sure pretend that it is!

I came across this Taylor quotes for the first time in a while. Always such a good reminder! 

Friday afternoon, we headed to my mom's house for the weekend!

Saturday morning, we went to my niece's birthday party- donut decorating!

After the party, we did a little shopping and wasted time before our reservation at....

Top Golf! Ridgeland just opened a location, so we had to check it out!

We love the food there 😂....we had a wing trio (buffalo, bbq, and asian sesame!), pretzel bites, cheese fries, a s'mores skillet cookie, and the injectable donuts. SO good. We were stuffed!!

Sunday morning after church, we went to Mexican and then my mom and I walked around Homegoods with Starbucks! Shocker- neither one of us bought anything!!

We headed back home that evening, and I came home to a sweet surprise from my favorite jewelry brand! I won a little giveaway they did last week.

Frozen pizza for dinner....I'm on a bit of a gluten free diet. I'm basically just trying to cut out gluten as much as possible. Not every meal I eat is GF (see the Top Golf pic above😂). This pizza also happened to be dairy free and vegan. It was...interesting to say the least- ha!

    What a fun weekend! Sure you had a blast with your mom. Top Golf sounds like so much fun-can't wait to try one out. They are building one in our area soon. Love the T Swift quote- she is always on point!

    Donut decorating sounds like such a fun party idea! I don't even like marshmallows and I think that s'mores bowl looks incredible. What a yummy weekend.

Friday Favorites {6.6.25}

 Happy Friday, friends!! How was your week? One of my summer classes started this week, so I have been getting back into a bit of a routine which is nice! As always, I am linking up with Erika and Andrea to share some faves from the week.  How cute is our new wreath sash?? My mom got it for us, and I am obsessed! Lots of food faves this week.... Another salsa I am now obsessed with! I found this at Aldi, and y'all it is SO good! I used it in a recipe, but I am definitely going to get another jar to eat for a snack or with lunch or dinner! Now for a Tik Tok "recipe". I used quotations, because it's really just a chop/open a can and throw together situation. Corn, black beans, pinto beans, onion, tomato, cilantro. I ate it with tortilla chips for lunch this week. It was so good! Next time, I would add more tomato and use less onion (maybe even no onion at all), and I should have chopped up the cilantro a little better! I also squeezed in some lime juice and added salt a...

Friday Favorites {12.20.24}

 Happy Friday, friends!! And Merry Christmas Eve Eve Eve Eve Eve- that's a thing, right??😂 I'm linking up with Erika and Andrea today to share some faves from the week, and then I will be off for the holidays! My plan is to see y'all back here on January 13! For some food faves.... I grabbed the raspberry kringle at Aldi the other day after seeing so many positive reviews on it. It is really good!! I had some with a cup of coffee a couple times this week! Last night, Caleb made lasagna soup- YUM. Definitely a favorite of mine lately! A great way to end the night.... Caleb made me a cosmopolitan the other night. Yum! I am really going to miss this sight.... This is my favorite time of year for sure! Twinkly lights and candle light = the BEST. On my drive home from work yesterday.... This was a fun little surprise. I don't remember this from last year! I hope you all have a great weekend and a very Merry Christmas and a Happy Holiday!
