Hello Monday {1.27.25}

 Hello Monday!! I hope you all had a great weekend! I am linking up with Holly and Sarah today to share about mine.

Friday night started off in the best way...a spicy marg, diet coke, and my fave food.

A little Friday night funny. Why is January so dang long???

Saturday morning coffee is always so nice.

We did our grocery shopping, and I got some fresh fruit....having it like this in the fridge makes me more likely to eat it! I am also making smoothies with it and adding spinach.

Ok, so I decided to grab the Aldi brand Diet Cola...it actually is pretty good. It kind of tastes more like Diet Pepsi to me, though.

Around 5, I decided to take a hot bath!

And a Saturday night save. One of my favorite verses!

Sunday morning we went to church, and then ate at Georgia Blue afterwards. The duck wontons are amazing!

I had seafood linguine as my meal. YUM.

After we got home, I went right to doing school work and stayed there until about 8- ugh. Cereal for dinner while I worked!

    What a yummy weekend! We try to keep fresh fruit in our fridge too and I like to have it washed and ready to grab and go so it doesn't go to waste.

Friday Favorites {6.6.25}

 Happy Friday, friends!! How was your week? One of my summer classes started this week, so I have been getting back into a bit of a routine which is nice! As always, I am linking up with Erika and Andrea to share some faves from the week.  How cute is our new wreath sash?? My mom got it for us, and I am obsessed! Lots of food faves this week.... Another salsa I am now obsessed with! I found this at Aldi, and y'all it is SO good! I used it in a recipe, but I am definitely going to get another jar to eat for a snack or with lunch or dinner! Now for a Tik Tok "recipe". I used quotations, because it's really just a chop/open a can and throw together situation. Corn, black beans, pinto beans, onion, tomato, cilantro. I ate it with tortilla chips for lunch this week. It was so good! Next time, I would add more tomato and use less onion (maybe even no onion at all), and I should have chopped up the cilantro a little better! I also squeezed in some lime juice and added salt a...

Friday Favorites {12.20.24}

 Happy Friday, friends!! And Merry Christmas Eve Eve Eve Eve Eve- that's a thing, right??😂 I'm linking up with Erika and Andrea today to share some faves from the week, and then I will be off for the holidays! My plan is to see y'all back here on January 13! For some food faves.... I grabbed the raspberry kringle at Aldi the other day after seeing so many positive reviews on it. It is really good!! I had some with a cup of coffee a couple times this week! Last night, Caleb made lasagna soup- YUM. Definitely a favorite of mine lately! A great way to end the night.... Caleb made me a cosmopolitan the other night. Yum! I am really going to miss this sight.... This is my favorite time of year for sure! Twinkly lights and candle light = the BEST.
